This kit comes without a battery, so make sure you have one before ordering - an official part costing the best part of £70.As befits the name, this is a solid piece of kit. It's designed for professionals, so it has less unnecessary fluff than a domestic tool and comes in a robust carry-case. It also assumes you have appropriate cutting disks for the jobs you have in mind - essentially you're just getting the tool here, but then you're also not paying for accessories you won't end up using.So, this is an expensive tool, and if you don't have any other Bosch 18v batteries and a charger, you're going to have to add another £70, and then buy disks if you don't have any of those, either.It's an expensive tool, but it's a quality tool that, looked after properly, will last years. A good example of you get what you pay for.

I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme.In every other instance where I have reviewed a cordless tool, a battery has been provided in order to enable the function of the tool to be assessed: unfortunately in this instance no battery came with the product so I can only offer comments on it's appearance, not it's performance.This Bosch angle grinder appears well made, as you would expect from a premium brand: the mouldings are excellent and the manufacturing standards appear high.The grinder comes in a solidly made case which appears to be able to latch onto others, I assume a Bosch system of stacking tool boxes.The machine is well balanced in the hand and would seem to be easy to use.A comprehensive manual is supplied.Retailing at £143.95 it's eye-wateringly expensive, particularly as that's just for the bare tool.

Efficient, powerful, easy to use. Excellent safety features including an 'intelligent' braking system and soft start and restart protection. Fairly lightweight, comes with carry case but battery is not included although an existing Bosch battery pack will be compatible. A good purchase at the currently discounted price.

This looks very well made, has soft hand grips and comes in a substantial storage box with detailed instructions and looks comfortable to use but beyond that I can say no more as it comes without a battery, batter charger or cutting disc so I couldn't use it to review it. The storage box has compartments to store these things but you literally only get the grinder, disc mounting attachments and a cloth!
