Solid Low-Speed Workhorse
Picked up this Bringsmart 60ktyz 5rpm AC motor for a small project I was working on. It's exactly what I needed - a reliable low-speed motor without the complications. The 5rpm is spot-on as advertised, with consistent torque throughout operation. No weird noises or heating issues even after running it for several hours. The build quality is surprisingly good for the price point.Installation was straightforward with the mounting holes lining up perfectly. Power consumption is minimal, and it starts up reliably every time.

Motor low-quality became permanently STUCK.
PIECE OF JUNK. Shortly after plutting-in the motor, you can see as it rotates, that the motor has a rough-spot where it seems to rub-inside, which only seems to be getting-worse as time goes by? Within several weeks, the motor simply DIED. It will NOT rotate the entire thing is STUCK. I am very very unhappy with my purchase and feel like I have been ripped-off. I wanted this particular motor because it was the perfect size and rotation for my project. Unfortunately, this product is a total RIPOFF.

Really quiet
Super quiet and strong little thing. Used as rocker motor for home made egg incubator.Motor is installed with a 2:1 reduction by use of #25 chain and sprockets to reduce rocking speed while doubling overall torque output with the 1rpm motor. Incubator holds up to 48 dozen chicken eggs and this little motor rocks them 35 degrees from one side to the other (70 degrees travel) with no problem, strong little motor. It cannot be heard running inside the incubator cabinet even with the door open, it is super quiet. 9 months use on the incubator now, motor has been fully loaded for weeks at a time and no issues with the motor which rocks egg trays from one side to the other every 2 hours. Wiring was no problem, husband said hot leg goes in the middle hole and neutral to top hole or bottom hole depending on which direction you want it to turn. Husband said he also ran a frame/case ground for safety. As a large cabinet incubator rocker motor it's doing the job wonderfully.

Not "high torque"
I'm putting this into a 106" drop-down projector screen. It's the right (physical) size and right speed, but it doesn't have enough torque to raise the screen from the lowered position. Considering the weight of the actual screen, it's disappointing that this is unable to lift the screen. It would nice if the seller provided a torque rating.Pros:- Correct size- Spindle has the necessary hole for turn keyCons:- Lacks torque

Motor does get hot but doesn’t impede motor operation.
The media could not be loaded. Used as a cam drive motor on Christmas polar swing. Works great!

Gets the job done, is beefy.
Runs very hot and is quite loud, but it gets the job done. Note, the mounting bracket Amazon advertised with it does not fit perfectly. holes don't exactly line up and the bolts are different thread. The motor speed controller Amazon advertises with it doesn't help either. these are not speed controllable.

SAVED THE GLIZZY ROLLER!!!!!
We were in need of this motor for our shop Hot Dog (Glizzy Machine). This came just in time and kept the dogs turning and evenly cooking. So glad it saved the day.

Crap all around.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased one motor for a prop, and it gets extremely hot! So I figured I would buy another that’s geared differently and see if that is why it gets so hot. When I got the new motor in today, it either won’t run or Vibrates and switches directions back-and-forth randomly.
