Great Quality, Keeps Water Out
The Cressi Supernova Dry snorkel is excellent quality. The top valve system keeps water out even with waves or partial submersion, which provides a lot of safety and comfort. The silicone mouthpiece is soft and very comfortable, even after hours of use, and the ergonomic design makes it fit well without causing discomfort. You can tell it’s made with durable, high-quality materials. Overall, a reliable snorkel, perfect for recreational diving and snorkeling. Highly recommended if you want both comfort and safety in the water.

The best value Dry snorkel I've had
I first used the Cressi Supernova Dry snorkel about three years ago during a summer in Aruba. It held up wonderfully until a strong current pulled it away—unfortunately, the hook can slip off the mask if it’s not carefully clamped. After switching to a backup semi-dry snorkel for the rest of that trip, I knew I wanted the Supernova again. When I found a good price, I picked up a replacement, which has been with me for over two years and accompanied me on three major trips: two three-week trips to Aruba and one to Raja Ampat. This snorkel has performed flawlessly throughout. Its dry top mechanism keeps water out effectively, even in choppy conditions, and I always make sure to rinse it thoroughly to prevent sand buildup. Compared to other cheaper brands I’ve tried, the Supernova’s build quality and reliability are unmatched for the price range. After two years of regular use, the silicone mouthpiece and clear flex tubing have become slightly more opaque but remain soft and durable. The mouthpiece is particularly comfortable for my medium-sized jaw, with no cracking or drying out. While I notice the airflow is slightly less than my Scubapro semi-dry snorkel, it’s more than sufficient for my lung capacity, and I never feel restricted. Traveling light is essential for me, and I appreciate that the Supernova can be disassembled into two pieces for compact packing. This, along with my Scubapro Supernova split fins, allows me to fit all my snorkeling gear and clothing into a 40L backpack. Overall, the Cressi Supernova Dry snorkel is an essential part of my snorkeling kit. It’s hard to find a better-performing snorkel in this price range. For anyone on the fence, this is a reliable dry snorkel—provided you take care of it. Washing it carefully after each use and avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun will help it last. With over 300 hours of snorkeling experience as an intermediate snorkeler, I can confidently recommend the Cressi Supernova to anyone looking for a dependable and well-designed snorkel.

Excellent Snorkel That Does Not Allow Water Intrusion
This is the second Cressi snorkel I have purchased and am now reviewing. The first one was the more expensive, so supposedly better, Cressi Alpha Ultra Dry, and I reviewed that snorkel here: https://www.amazon.com/review/R3O2ULYGVZ6VDC/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00BX51IUC In a nutshell, I was not happy with it because for some reason, while using it extensively for a week in Bonaire, I found that it was letting some water in when less expensive snorkels I had used in the past did not. I was still confident in the Cressi brand, so after returning it, I replaced it with the Cressi Supernova Dry Snorkel that I am reviewing here. I am only submitting this review now, several months after my purchase, because I did not have the opportunity to try it out until just now. I am happy to report that for me, this less expensive snorkel in the Cressi line, actually works better. I used it under various conditions over several days recently, and not once did I have the water intrusion problem that I had with the "better" Cressi snorkel. (To be fair, my wife is still using the better model, and she did not have the issues I had.) This Cressi Supernova snorkel works as a good snorkel should. The detachable clip makes it easy to attach and detach it from your snorkel mask. It simply does not allow water in while you are snorkeling. You can free-dive with it, and when you surface there is not water that needs to be cleared, or at least there wasn't for me the few times I free-dove with it. The mouth piece is comfortable. All in all, I am very pleased with this snorkel. If you found this review helpful, it would be great if you said so by clicking on the “Yes” button below. On the other hand, if you did not find this review helpful, I’d be interested in hearing why, so that I can attempt to edit it and make it more helpful to both you and others. If you leave a comment on the review, suggesting how it would be more helpful, I promise to respond to your comment, and to attempt to incorporate your suggestion in my review, if it is at all possible for me to do so. My goal is to write reviews that help people, as I have been helped by the reviews others have written. Thanks!

Great Quality
Took this to Hawaii last year and it worked very well. Snorkeled multiple times and it was easy to use, didn’t let water in, and was good quality overall.

Good seal, good purge valve next to the mouth
This works excellent there’s a good purge valve next to the mouth and you can just go right in the water and do a flip underwater and no water will get in the tube. I recommend it. You just need a way to attach your snorkel mask.

Best dry snorke I have ever owned
The Cressi Dry Snorkel is a game changer! The flexible body makes it significantly more comfortable than traditional solid snorkels, allowing for a more natural and relaxed fit while you're in the water. One of the standout features is the dry attachment at the top – it keeps every single drop of water out, ensuring that you can snorkel without worrying about leaks. Unlike other designs that can sometimes get stuck closed, this snorkel works smoothly every time, allowing for effortless breathing.

Comfortable in the mouth. I was skeptical about the dry feature, but it works! I did not try it deaper than 4 feet. The clip is quick release (the ring around the snorkel and the clip detach from one another) which is really pratical when using the mask without snorkel or to store mask and snorkel. Got this for a great price and it look really good too so perfect for me!
