Ghostface Killah is either the exact rapper BBNG should have worked with, or they’ve been able to adjust their style so well that they have successfully adapted so that they work really well with Ghost. What I’m trying to say is that this is a case of a collaborative album that at no point feels like the two didn’t get who they were working with. The beats are all fantastic and work great for Ghost and the verses, while not quite as impressive as they could be, are still very solid and keep Ghost on my rapper radar. This is a fantastic album, with some of the best production I have heard so far this year. Good job BBNG.

Future Classic
This album creates an avenue for True Musicians & True Emcee's to meet & display a celebration of artistic collaboration. In a amazing way, 'Sour Soul' stands firmly on a thin, rare, line of musical balance, that caters to both fans of the Canadian Jam-band trio as well as fans of the Staten Island born emcee Ghostface Killah. Filled with catchy jazz riffs & a beautiful drum & bass section, Ghostface rides the beat with his swordsman-like delivery of story-telling & quick wordplay, along with some guests that include M.F. Doom & Danny Brown. In my opinion, the music does remind of a 70's style kung fu pimp situation or some s***. I bet this album won't get the attention it deserves, but by all means I hope I'm wrong, I recommend this album to fans of ANY genre. This is a future classic. An album that I am happy was created so I can take it with me in life. ENJOY.... N' BUY THIS S*** BELIEVE ME!!
