I got my printer for out in the field work. So not always having a power supply around this is the cats Jammie’s. First off the battery charges on the printer using the factory power cable. It charges quite fast too. I have. It been able to to run the battery dead in multiple uses and cartridge and paper changes. This battery just keeps going. I feel like you could probably get 75-100 prints on a single charge. Here again I haven’t got it to half charge yet. It also fits on the printer using and fits in most cases with the power cord as well. This was a great find and yes it works on the SELPHY 1300 as well this is a great value for the money all day long! The design is perfect and has not disappointed me at all. Get one and make life easier with your printer

I purchased this battery for my Canon Selphy CP800, and it works well. Of note, this battery is surprisingly heavy.

it won't charge on the cp1300(no charging sign on the screen), I don't know whether it is resulted from the battery or the printer.I owned sephly Cp1000 and cp1200, both work with oem battery without problem.if anyone know any solution or reason for this please let me know, "buying the additional charging unit" is an absolutely failed answer.

Buyer beware does not work very long. Causes CP1300 not to boot when battery dies. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
