Such a fun toy! We got these for our 2- and 4-year-old and they were an instant hit. The best part is having two remotes, so each kid can control their own car and race at the same time—no arguing! The steering wheel controllers are easy to use, the lights are exciting, and the police and race car designs are super cute. Great toy for toddlers and perfect for siblings. Highly recommend!

Got this for grandson. unffortunately 1st had a wrong part for the figurine and only way to resolve was to send new one. After talking to Prextex, recommended getting replaced by Amazon... The car is limited functionality but is sturdy enough for toddler and he enjoys playing with it.... Does not seem to work on carpeting so used exclusively on non carpeted surfaces.

I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old, and they both enjoy playing with this set together. I specifically got this set with 2 remote controlled cars so they would each get one and not fight over it. The 5 year old picked up how to use the remote immediately. The 2 year old has trouble and gets frustrated. The control buttons are simple, but maybe a little too basic? One button makes the car move ONLY forward. The other makes the car move in reverse, but round, like the motion a car makes when you are backing it out of a parking spot to leave. So there is no straight back reverse button. If you want to back up, you have to do a round reverse to back the car up instead of being able to reverse in a straight line. I find this a little annoying, but I can see how that design choice was made in an attempt to simplify the controls. The cars also sing a song and have lights when you press a button on the vehicle or driver. The police car has an extra sound of sirens, but the song is the same for both cars. The range is pretty good for small kids. Far enough that you don't have to stand right next to the car to make it move, but not so far that the car disappears from your view. I find this just the right range for small kids. I've had the race car version of the remote control cars before, and it did died after about a year of irregular use. I only purchased this set again because I've tried other remote controlled cars with my kids (the mario ones from Costco, random ones from stores like Marshall's) and they are either too much remote control car or not enough. This set is just the right amount for my kids, even though I am holding my breath on the longevity of the cars. So far so good. Will update at the sound of the death knell.

Bought these for my 2 grandsons and they love them. They’re very fast, go on carpet even. They’re very safe with no hanging wires and very easy for them to use. Lightweight and cute with little lights, sounds and music! Great find

I love these little guys. I know they are for kids, and they are easy enough to run that even quite young children can use them. But I use them to keep nuisance birds from my feeders. They work great. Long battery life, and easy to operate. Fun stuff!

Prextex Remote Control Cars are a great gift for any toddler aged 2 to 3+, giving them plenty of fun for hours on end. I purchased the two-pack for my three year old and he loves playing with them. The cars come in vibrant colors and have a cool police car design and race car design, making them extra attractive to little ones. The operation is easy to understand and follow so I didn’t have any trouble assembling the parts correctly before handing it over. My toddler especially loves the police car since it looks like something he would see on TV. He can maneuver both cars back and forth, but unfortunately neither of them turn right or left, which would have been a great addition. The batteries last quite some time under continual use, easily keeping kids entertained without having to worry about their toys running out of power mid-game (or mid-chase!). While there are limitations as to how far the cars can travel, my son has managed to steer both cars from one end of our living room floor all the way across! Although at times they don’t proceed exactly as instructed and take an unexpected turn which can add laughter to the adventure. Overall these remote control cars are perfect for toddlers ages 2-3+. The bright colors and designs make them extra appealing and their ease of operation means no worries when setting up. Not to mention they last long enough that your kids will be able to keep playing longer without interruption so you can get back those important tasks you need done! However if you had hoped your child or grandchild could drive around making turns like in real life then this might not be what you're looking for. For that reason I'm only giving Prextex Remote Control Cars 3 stars as I feel they could have been much better than just going front to back.

Great gift. I purchased for a 2 year old. He loved them. Larger parts for small hands, and 2 children can play together.
