Velcro with an attitude.
If you want something to stay put, this is what you need. I keep this stuff on hand, not because I use it all the time, but when I want something locked down (but removeable, with effort), this is my go-to. The uses are many... I use it mostly for automotive purposes, usually to mount small component type stuff. The last application was for a ScanGauge 3 in my Tundra, which I had fabbed a bracket for. The gauge did not come with a bracket or mounting, so I did my own. A small piece of this, and the ScanGauge is securely fastened onto my bracket and doesn't flop around or fall. If I want it off, then I'll earn it, I'm sure.Good stuff.

Perfect
Amazing, so sturdy. Holds a lot of weight, haven't had any issues since I bought it, easy to use. It is a little thick but it definitely will hold things. Used it for my pedalboard and a few other devices in my home studio, it helps manage space, real versatile.

Great for my pedal board
These really lock down my guitar pedals to my pedal board. Love it!

best 3m product there is
i love that it mates to itself instead of a male and female type of velcro if you will. and the backing film that protects the adhesive comes off nice and easy, i've used other velcro that you really fight to pull the backing off and end up ruining the velcro sometimes. the adhesive is also nice and strong. i have things mounted on the under side of the roof of my sxs for a couple of months now and hit 80+ regularly with no issues, i can also yank the items down and pop them right back up. i have a rechargeable light and a few other things mounted so this product really fits the bill

This stuff is great. Way better than velcro.
I bought this for a guitar pedal board build. It holds STRONG! I can pick up the whole board by picking up one pedal with no fear of it letting go. It's a little expensive but it's way better than the old-school hook and loop fasteners.

This vs eating
Seems to hold okay but I always talk myself out of using it since it goes for about the price of gold. Remember, it takes two sides so 10’ really equals 5’.EDIT: It has to sit perfectly flush. If they aren't lined up exactly, they won't stick. I tried to use it on a keyboard that had a raised back, and even though they were only slightly out of alignment, they wouldn't stick.

Super strong adhesive
Very impressed with this stuff. It really “locks” in with a click. Shame it’s so expensive but it is great for my pedal board and because I mount my pedals on a high incline (it’s like a dumb modular synth setup) the adhesive being stronger than industrial strength Velcro was important. Over a few months’ time, the backing glue would come off of particularly heavy pedals like a Boss MD-200 or Strymon BigSky and I’d have to use new Velcro. That shouldn’t be happening with this stuff.

Use this instead of velcro for your guitar pedalboard
I have ordered a lot of this over the years. Don't mess around with the lesser junk. Pitch the velcro in the trash. 3M Scotch brand Dual Lock is the best there is. In the past using velcro, I have opened my case for my pedal boards on a warm day and all the adhesive had come off and I had a sticky mess. Not with the Scotch dual lock. Adhesive is great. Not sure why there is a "Remote Control" for this item. Nope, no remote control. Doesn't make sense. I gave that feature a 1 star.
