When recording a song play back sounds terrible.UPDATE: changed to a four star. The company was extremely nice, sent me a new pair. I could not give a five star review because of the fact the ear buds when singing are way too sensitive. It picks up every sound and move when recording. But other than that they sound great when listening to music and have great noise cancellation.

I sing in a worship band and these in ear monitors work fantastic for my needs. It picks up enough of the bass tones for my needs. They came with several options for the actual in ear portion. They stay in my ear well and do well at canceling out the surrounding noise.

The red color is for the RIGHT ear, and the BLUE color is for the left.The monitors have the red (color) as the LEFT and the blue (color) as the right.This makes no sense.Also the cable should be at least 1 meter. The cables are too short (less than a meter).Otherwise they are just fine.

I use these for guitar practice. I had a cheaper pair of over the ear headphones before. I also compared the sound to a friend’s $79 pair of Status Audio CB-1 headphones that I liked. The sound is excellent with good midrange (great for guitar). They take a bit of practice to put in due to the shape (this is my first pair of this style), but your ears don’t burn up like with over the ear headphones. The cable is not very long, but I guess these were not made with the idea of plugging into an amp. I added an extension cable. If you have a problem with your ears getting hit with headphones, these are a great quality alternative. I don’t think that there are any headphones in this price range of the same quality sound.
