Best Barns Woodville 10' X 16' Wood Shed Kit

Finally got the shed kit where we wanted to install it and the parts are incomplete for what was supposed to be in the kit - plus the materials that are there are not as strong as they should be. We have had to go buy parts just to finish building. Great idea but disappointing.

This is a pretty straight forward building, if you do everything in order. I am bad at not following directions to the letter. As an old carpenter I like to use screws instead of nails, they just hold better. I am using this building as a goat barn so I moved the doors to the center on the side and made another set for the center on the other side. I only had to run a couple pieces of siding through the table saw to get everything sheeted. I had plenty of material to make these changes. I also put in 2 windows on the 1 side. In my opinion the first thing to do is sort the contents, empty and disassemble both pallets. This will make life much easier being able to find the right board and not having to stop and dig through the other pallet. All the material was straight, no warped 2x4's! I only had 2 2x4's that were split on the ends from being screwed to the pallet. Second is to make sure you double check the sheeting overhangs! Nothing will irritate you faster by having to take the siding off to drop it a quarter of an inch. Give yourself a little extra room because a trim board is provided, it will cover the gap! Great shed and cheaper than the same exact one at the local home improvement store with no tax or shipping.
