Great cover design, does need some work
Love that this cover has a bending bar (think pipe cleaner or twist tie material) sewn into the top—makes it easy to see if the baby has a good latch and makes it easy to reposition without having to move the cover out of the way, etc. I do wish that bar were slightly thicker just so it'd feel better/more natural. The bottom is slightly weighted because it has a thick terry cloth material in order to wipe drool or milk or spit up, which works pretty well in keeping the cover in place. The cover itself is just a long rectangular piece of fabric with an adjustable strap that goes around your neck. I'm pretty tall and thin, but I do wish the cover was slightly longer in width. After one wash on a gentle cycle and hanging dry it did start to fray, so the non-terry cloth parts do need to be thicker, and the seams need to be sewn better. It does serve the purpose well though, and is my favorite nursing cover design so far. I do wish there were also some full neutral color designs as well (completely black or grey).Edit 08/25/21: added a star because customer service immediately reached out and sent a replacement. Great customer service!

Makes Nursing in Public STRESS-FREE and so much easier!
i wish I would've purchased this cover before my daughter was born! I've heard of these covers for quite a while and didn't think they'd make that big of a difference. I was so wrong.. Nursing in public or in front of anyone would've been SO much easier for me. I think it's great if you feel comfortable nursing in front of others without a cover. I'm just not. I don't even feel comfortable in a bathing suit at the pool. It's just who I am. If you're like me and find yourself getting under the cover with your baby to fix a latch or keep from spraying everything in sight with your let down, you'll love this cover!!My little one needed a lot of help latching in the beginning and now that she's 5 months old, she's very squirmy, so I've always needed to use at least one arm/hand to hold her and the other to either help her latch or hold her still! With my other covers, I'd have to expose myself quite a bit when she's squirmy or gets distracted and stops nursing right before my milk lets down and goes all over. It's been great having it for the last month. I can now nurse anywhere (walking around the grocery store, at dinner with my husband's extended family, anywhere) without worrying that she will loose her latch or get distracted. She likes being able to see me through the opening, too (:I've washed it a couple of times with no problem at all. I assumed (without really looking into it) that the opening was caused by "wire" similar to that in wired ribbon, but it's actually a piece of sturdy, yet bendable plastic-type material. It's simple, yet genius.I think back to all the times I wish I had this cover, so I didn't have to be in another room nursing, and feel such a pang of regret for not getting this sooner!!

Best ever 🙌🏼 Buy this!
Everything about this is amazing. I love the easy to use adjuster/tightener. The thick strap. Such a step up from my old one. I love that it’s one solid color & the color is black! 🙌🏼 For some reason that was almost impossible to find in the apron style nursing cover, which is what I prefer instead of the shawls/nursing scarves. The only one I could find similar to this on amazon was literally only one other option that was also solid black, all cotton option & it was $40! And that one didn’t even have a burp cloth built in!It’s 100% cotton & soooo thin/light weight, but then has an extremelyyyy soft cotton burp cloth built into the entire bottom section which is just so amazing and gives it a little extra weight at the bottom to help cover baby (my baby likes to flail so this will be very helpful for me). Also the apron it’s self is fairly large for really decent/modest coverage which I appreciate bc I’m often nursing in front of my father in law, or at church! 😅I had my eye on an apron style cover on Etsy that was made of pure solid linen, but that was also $40 + shipping and I just could bring myself to spend that much when honestly if I needed to I could just use a Muslim blanket/burp cloth to cover myself, but then I found this cover for about $18 and had it in my cart forever. It has a faux linen look in person and I’m just so glad I chose to be frugal and buy this one, honestly feel certain I made the right decision. 😍 so pleased!

Great cover
This cover has been a lifesaver for me on the occasions I have needed it in public!I used to be afraid to nurse anywhere but home, so I would bring a bottle of breast milk everywhere baby and I went. The problem with this was it took away the freedom of being able to stay out as long as I wanted, and if I decided to stay out for a long time the baby would need another feeding and I'd end up nursing in a nasty public bathroom or in the car.One day I decided it was enough and nursed baby in a mall food court using a blanket and I felt so empowered lol! This experience helped me get brave and order a proper cover.I don't advocate just feeding baby in an indecent way, but I do think it's okay to feed a baby where you are, and that nursing moms should not feel like they have to go hide in a less than clean or desirable place. This cover is great for the price and provides good coverage. I've used it to nurse baby on airplanes, in cars, at restaurants, and other places. The boning at the top is meant to rest on the collarbone so as to provide a way to see your baby and remain covered. The terry fabric at the bottom rests on my knees and keeps the cover from sliding. The fabric is not too thick to where baby would be hot in most cases, so I think that's why it's on the thinner side.
