This is a 40 year anniversary re-release of ChangesOneBowie, Bowie's first compilation album. I purchased on vinyl because, well, vinyl. This includes one vinyl record in a crazy transparent-silver color. A must have for any fan!

I got a vinyl copy of this collection to enjoy listening to the sounds of vinyl on my Crosley portable turntable. My older sister once had this collection when she was in high school. Every track is great on here but with one notable exception. The version of "John(I'm Only Dancing)" on this one is the same one from the Sounds And Visions set, otherwise the version on my cloud is more like the original one. "Changes" would become the theme of my Senior prom, which was cool. One shouldn't be without this David Bowie compilation in their collection!

Awesome! Finally re-released after being out of print for many years. This is the album that introduced me (and many others) to Bowie, a classic compilation. Very happy to have a new vinyl pressing and it sounds amazing (I got a copy on clear vinyl). I also love that they used the sax version of John, I'm only Dancing for this vinyl reissue, the same version that was used on the first 1000 pressings of this album when it was first released in '76 (The CD and digital versions do not). get it while you can, as it will surely go out of print again, and if you are new to Bowie, this is the best place to start.

For audiophiles : This cd is good quality. It produces excellent "sound stage" and "detail". Not compressed.for music lovers : I have never been a David Bowie fan but, this collection is very enjoyable. Glad I bought it.

David Bowie was a genius. A true Artist. A force of nature and a magical being. This is a great collection if songs from his catalog and a good representation of his career and the ch-ch-ch-changes that occurred as he grew as an artist and innovator. I got this as a gift from my 11 year old nephew for Christmas. He loves music and just discovered the fun of vinyl. It's too bad it never arrived and we had to cancel the order and get him something else, he would have loved it.
