Hanskin Alpha Hydroxy Acid Pore Cleansing Oil, Exfoliating, Makeup Remover Facial Cleanser, Moisturizing for Soft Skin [AHA/10.14 oz.]

I stopped using makeup wipes because I found out that it is very damaging for your skin so I started looking into cleansing oils as an alternative. This cleansing oil removes everything - and I mean it. Waterproof mascara and even lip stains. It has a fresh citrus scent and is not oily when I wash it off. You have to make sure to emulsify with water before washing off though.On days when I see my pores getting clogged around my nose, I just use this cleansing oil and massage it on my nose for about 30 seconds before rinsing. My nose is super smooth and no longer bumpy afterwards. I used to use face scrubs to exfoliate my face but I found that AHA is super gentle on my sensitive skin and does not irritate it or make my skin red. My skin thanks me for this!

I love my Hanskin PHA oil cleanser, but I thought I’d try this AHA cleanser for the dry winter months. Honestly, it’s just sort of meh for me. I deal with whiteheads and blackheads on my chin and jawline, but this did nothing to keep them in check like the PHA does. I ended up ordering more PHA in the end.

Did not realize this would have a musky scent. The intense fragrance is why I do not use it as often as I use another more mild cleansing oil for sensitive skin.I do like that it removed my foundation makeup with little effort and easily rinses off, keeps my skin moisturized even after I wash with salicylic acid cleansing solution. It is for dry skin types I think, would probably make an oily skin type break out.Does not remove mascara and eyeliner as well as some balms and oils. I love this brand though, high quality, and worth the price.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I love it! It’s the perfect addition to my double cleanse routine and I feel like I can see in difference in the dryness of my skin. I have naturally pretty dry skin and this helps prevent it from completely drying out from cleansing. I follow it with a hydrating gel cleanser as part of the double cleanse routine.Make sure to never follow it with or even use a foaming cleanser. Foaming cleansers actually completely strip your skin of your natural oils, which you DO NOT want to happen. You need and want some of that.

Great first step wash to bind with and remove unwanted oils, etc. Whenever I don’t use this after running out I notice the change and order more! I have oily acne prone skin, am 42 yrs. I wish it cost less but you get what you pay for.
