I needed to install outlets and a switch on a pergola. Used these with weather-tight covers and GFCI, running conduit (painted to match) between the boxes. Worked beautifully. Buyers should be aware that there are two small knock-outs for screw holes. Just use a center punch and you’re golden. (Obviously, also ensure you appropriately seal the opening you bring cable in/out, though I suppose you could get away with outdoor rated cable and waterproof electrical lugs).

I needed something to mount my new ring elite doorbell on an outdoor post, this was perfect and it installed very easy, I probably could have gotten it cheaper if I actually ventured outside the home and gone to Lowe's... But alas I'm lazy and it came here within 2 days and I installed it a week later

Round ones—you don’t have to drill, I think, for mounting Ring devices.

Nice quality on the overall casting, cleanup, and powder coating. It comes with (2) metal fill caps and a phillips head grounding screw. It costs a bit more for the finer things. Enjoy.

This box works fine, but I wasn't expecting a standard galvanized box that was simply spray painted black (with the overspray apparent in the inside). I could have done this myself.

Works as well as you'd hope for making a weird extension cord. Seems powder coated rather than painted, but I could be wrong.

Sturdy, lightweight, and the 3 available holes make mounting options flexible. It's also black, which is awesome and an uncommon color for exterior-rated electrical boxes (most are the standard grey).

This is a very sturdy, well made junction box. The metal is thick, and the black color is a deep, dark glossy black. It looks great on a black lamp post. It comes with two screw in discs to fill the unused holes.
