my dog unfortunately is allergic to all protein, but she is also a big dog so I wanted to make sure that she got her oil for her joint and some collagen and for her coat and this has worked amazing. I actually prefer the algae oil over the salmon oil. Her coat is even shinier than before. You should definitely give it a try.

I often worry about buying perishables on Amazon, but this oil was fresh and there was no leaking. It certainly stinks like all algae oil does. This is good because the vet gave me odorless fish omega 3 oil for my cat but he won't touch it. He will eat this oil because it smells more appealing to him even though I find it pretty gross.I also add some to water so my dog will drink more water. I don't want to use animal products for if not necessary but the usual things to add to water to get them to drink more are like canned tuna water or meat broth, but I tried using this and it works.Regardless of human reactions, it seems both dogs and cats love the strong algae smell.

I purchased this for one of my dogs in particular, who had dandruff and dry fur. I didn't hold out much hope, because I tried a few other things in the past that didn't work. But amazingly enough, this oil did the trick! In literally just a few weeks, her coat is silky and shiny, and her dandruff appears to have gone away. And she loves the flavor, and laps it up with the rest of her meal. In addition, it's a vegan product, which is another plus. Glad I found this....and Carmela is, too. :)

We started our puppy on this at 12 weeks old and 18 months later, we are still a fan. After finishing the first bottle we noticed dandruff in his coat and reordered immediately: problem solved. We only give our 80# Labrador 1 pump a day (less than recommended dosage) but are very pleased with the results. The oil doesn't smell either, by the way.

My dog doesn’t like the taste of this oil. He refuses to eat when I add it to his food after a couple days but it’s visibly helped his skin issues. I wish it could applied topically lol. I’ll have to figure out a way to get him to continue to eat with this new oil.UPDATE: although this has helped my boy’s balding skin areas on his paws, it does absolutely nothing for shedding oddly enough. He sheds more than ever which is very odd.

I used this product and my dog's lipase was 1500 when the range is 0-250!! The only different was using this omega oil in her diet so I stopped the daily dosage and her blood work went down to 500. Still a bit high but dramatic difference!! My vet said this was most likely the cause and I will not use it again. I'm not saying it will definitely cause your dog to unable to process fat but please do check the blood work since inability to process all the extra omega oils can potentially damage bodily functions, liver, pancreas, kidneys of your loved one.

I make all the food for our 4 dogs and 10 cats and needed a non-fish oil for one of the dogs. I ended up liking this product so much that I'm now using it for all of them. No more oily smelly salmon oil yet they still have the same, if not better, health benefits. Bulk amount makes it easy to pump what I need directly into the pounds of meat I grind up. As for taste...look at the photo lol. Recommend not leaving it out on your counter or your cat(s) will chew the pump off. Our dogs and cats rate this 5 stars. 😃

My two dogs and my two cats love this in their food. My one dog that has a white coat and sensitive skin loves it particularly. Her skin issues seem to be subsiding her coat is so soft and I even think her mood is better. I just bought my second bottle and Ended up getting the biggest size - 32 ounces. I can’t recommend this more.
