I have a draw of mixed kitchen knives, i prefer non serrated so i need to sharpen or hone often. I wanted to replace my set but i didn't want to replace my entire kitchen knife set only the daily use knives. These come very sharp and stay very sharp, the handles fit in your hand like a glove. I have had plenty of so called decent knives snap in my hands while cutting meat. As a knife guy these seem like they will last for a very long time. I keep a sharpening steel in my drawer and would touch up my other knives every other use to keep them sharp, but these so far rarely need to be sharpened or honed. Just hand wash and they wont dull Also since the grips are rubberized, even wet they wont slip out of your hand They also have non symmetrical handles, as if they were custom fitted for a right handed person, but a left handed can still use.

A great knife overall, sharp, comfortable and dishwasher safe, BUT... about 80% of the time they co.e out of the come out of the dishwasher with small blobs of surface rust. I keep a small piece of Emory cloth(a fine sandpaper for metal) in the cabinet. I give them a light buff and they good as new. They do need a quick sharpening every so often, if you like a sharp knife.

I have been looking all over for knives with a grip handle that even has rubber in the mix. They are so easy to cut up veggies and fruits with. No slipping for me!
