High capacity, but not 300. It's not supposed to be opened or reused.
Great product. I bought one almost two years ago with a new safety razor and 110 blades. It's still got room for more now that I have to buy more blades. It's getting tight though -- I suppose that is mathematically possible given the dimensions of this container and those of the blades, but no, you're not going to actually get 300 blades into this thing unless you can line up everything perfectly without seeing inside of it. I expect that I'll get up to about 120-130 or so before I switch to the new replacement container I'm buying today. Regarding the complaints that this is not openable -- it's not supposed to be. The whole point of this product is to provide a reasonably cheap ($3/year in my case) way to store razor blades and dispose of them safely in bulk. I don't want this to be openable or reusable. By that standard, the product meets all my expectations. While I suppose it may be possible to shake this thing in such a manner as to get a razor to fall or stick out of the slot, you'd almost have to be intentionally trying to do that for it to actually happen. Overall one of my favorite little Amazon purchases. I'm buying my second one today after two years and hope it's still available two years from today. UPDATE -- My initial review above was from June 1, 2023. I decided to continue pushing the capacity of the first blade bank I described that day -- It's June 19, 2024 now and I've gotten at least another 75 blades into it. I estimate there are nearly 200 disposed blades in this little tin now -- it takes quite a bit of shaking and rattling some mornings to get them lined shifted such that I can slide another blade in, but it's still taking more without too much effort. I'm sure I'll get tired of rattling it soon enough, and switch to the unit I bought a year ago, but this first unit has certainly given me my money's worth.

Perfectly size blade bank that does the job - Capacity for about 2 years of used blades.
This is a disposable blade bank that suits it's intended purpose. The blade bank will hold hundreds of blades - I expect each one to last about 2 years before it gets full (I tend to use 2 blades per week) - and at the price of $6, it doesn't get any cheaper than this. I usually let the blade dry completely before putting it into this container - that reduces the probability that it will rust. This is a much safer way of disposing of used blades than merely throwing them into the trash. The slot is small enough that once the blade is in the container, it is very unlikely to come out. Perfectly sized as well.

Stop using a soup can and upgrade already
I was one one of the people using a can with a slit to store my razors. It was a real eyesore in the bathroom and genuinely not a secure way to store them. Finally made the decision to upgrade to an actual razor bank and it's really worth it. It looks elegant, easy to put away when needed and is still not full. I will be certainly getting more of these when my current one fills up. If your on the fence about actually investing in these kind of shave banks, just do it it's a great value for added convenience and safety

Great way to safely dispose of razors.
I’ve purchased two of these for my husband and he really appreciates having them around. Keeps his used blades out of harms way. Quality is ok, but does rust because it’s near water. Value for the Money is fair. Cannot answer Smooth Shave, Sharpness, or Comfort because this product is not a razor. This product stores used razors out of the way, before the box is tossed away.

Smaller then you think
Tiny, definitely not as big as I thought. But its sleak and compact, so I like it anyways

Great for sourdough!
I did not have a good solution for the blades I use in my bread lame. This is perfect. Doesn't take up much space and keeps disposal safe

Safe, one time use blade disposal
Compact, visually pleasant, but most important, it doesn't open. Once a blade is put into this blade bank, it won't be able to come back out without significant effort. Too many blade banks have a bottom that comes off, completely negating the idea of safe disposal of sharp razor blades. Once the blade bank is full, it should be able to be placed in the recycling container or garbage and not be a safety hazard.
