On the fence? Purchase this!
If you're hesitant to buy this due to the current low amount of reviews, let me tell you.... Go ahead and purchase this. Worth every penny. Took these pictures of my puppy right after setup which maybe took 10 minutes. I'm in love with it and so is my dog lol, she couldn't wait for me to finish to get inside. This is my first time ever using a photo box and so far I'm very impressed with it, time will tell as to durability. Love that they included an extra set of the corner protectors as well as clamps for the light bars.Few reasons as to why this item got my purchase over all the others on Amazon:1. Sturdy metal frame with detachable cover. Yay not mostly plastic!2. Removable and adjustable light bars when the lights die (eventually) you don't have to throw out the entire thing like the ones where it is imbedded in the cover.3. Dimmer as well as temperature adjustment. This thing is huge assembled but this is as expected. It fits my dog. I went with the largest size due to not wanting to be as restricted with size. My main reason for purchase is for product photos for my craft shop. Bonus use for pets and baby/kids photos.

Dim junk
I need a bigger version of the studio light box I've been using. My old one comes in a ridged square shape that unfolds into a cube in just a few seconds and then plugs in, and done. This one -- does NOT do that. This one took me more than an hour to set up. It has poles that have to be twisted into plastic tri-elbow pieces, and the outer box wraps around it and is supposed to zip up but it too tight to fit. The backdrop is 100% impossible to get to stand up the back, so I had to drape a piece of fabric for a backdrop instead. I read that other reviewers used tape to attach the backdrops, but since I already suspected by that point that I'd be returning it, I didn't want to risk getting tape-goo on any of the pieces. Then, once the thing is set up, the lights are incredibly dim even on the highest setting. I did a test shoot and the pictures were awful, very dim and contrasty. The highlights were very bright and shiny, and everything else was dim and muddy-looking. Not much there for midtones, just super-bright highlights and the rest dark. I'll definitely be returning this. Such a waste of time, and now I'm behind in my project because I've lost an evening of work to this bag of junk. And I'm still stuck without a shooting setup that's big enough for the project, so I'll have to find an alternative for this part of the project since this shoot can't happen. And to top it all off, this thing stinks. You walk into the room, and just standing in the doorway you feel like you've stuck your face inside the wall of an inflatable kiddie pool. As I type this it's giving me a major headache. I need to take this thing apart and pack it up in the garage to go back to Amazon. And then I need to air out this room. Wish I hadn't set it up on my bed, but there was no place else big enough. Guess I'll need to wash my sheets, too, to get the odor off of them. Ughghghghggh.

Very Nice Light Box Kit. Glad I Bought The 32” Model.
Before my purchase I watched a LOT of videos demonstrating light boxes like this one. I settled on the 32” size and I’m glad I did because of its versatility. Assembly was fairly easy. The frame went together smoothly and the cover zipped around it without tugging or pulling. One thing I discovered is that the printed instructions pertaining to the insertion of the backdrop sheet appear to be wrong. They seem to say that the backdrop sheet should be inserted in the inside of the outer cover before the cover is applied to the frame. However, installing the backdrop in this fashion leaves the lower, back rod of the frame exposed during photography. Instead, the backdrop should be installed AFTER the outer cover has been installed over the frame. In doing so, the backdrop then has a nice curve to it.

Did not work for me
At first I thought this product would be great. It had all the features and was really easy to assemble. However once I started taking photos I realized that this was not going to work. I wanted a pure black background and as you can see in the photo provided, the background is highly reflective and no matter what I tried I could not get rid of the reflected corner, which created a white stipe behind the item. I tried changing the lighting strength and angles, tried moving the object and moving the camera. I also asked the seller's advice on this and to this day have received no answer. I then thought I would try the white background but when I unpacked it, it had a great big stain on it. I therefore sent it all back for a refund. Instead I've purchased a piece of black fabric that will absorb light for a fraction of the cost.

Really great item. Produces some beautiful pictures
Pros:• Easy to use, simple light control• brightness and color temperature adjustments• Really great size. The 80cm one is large enough for me• the lights can be repositioned to get different accent areas• includes a diffuser for the LEDs• relatively rigid metal frameCons:• plastic corners, but they’re strong plastic. Just not sure how long they’ll last. The good news is they were nice enough to include a few extras, so this isn’t a true issue• the backdrops can be a bit hard to get in place during assembly, and the instructions say to put the frame over the backdrops when the frame needs to go below itAll in all it’s a great product for a great price and can make even the least experienced photographer look like a pro
