The mixer grinder is easy to use. It has a blender-quality motor that provides quick results.
I was searching for a mixer grinder that would be suitable for preparing Indian recipes. I use it to make dosa and idli batter. It also grinds spices and ginger garlic paste efficiently. I’m completely satisfied with the performance. I bought it along with a 3-year warranty in case of any repairs. It has a blender-quality motor that provides quick results.

Powerful but Noisy
It's a very good mixer except for the noise. I do understand that the mixers from India are very powerful and have noise but just felt this had more than the motor it has. Ignoring that, this is fantastic to look at, good build quality, except for the mid-sized jar, the steel quality is not the same in all which I was assuming so. Been using for the last 4 months and does its job smoothly, with no issues thus far.

Works as desired and looks great too
This Preethi Steele Mixer grinder replaced a 21 year old Sumit Mixie that was a workhorse. I was looking for a mixer that I could service/fix myself, therefore availability of aftermarket spare parts (like couplers) was a major factor in this purchase. There are multiple DIY videos available that walk you through the process of fixing common issues with couplers. So far this mixer has exceeded expectations. It grinds chutneys and sauces to the correct consistency without any issues. Grinding whole spices to a fine powder works great too.The stainless steel mixer base and jars are easy to clean. There are cheaper options available from Preethi that will probably accomplish the job just fine. I chose this more expensive because the stainless steel base+jars match the other appliances in my kitchen. In summary, I would highly recommend the Preethi Steele mixer.

Seems Used or Tested
Noisy - really noisy.Upset with the delivery mechanism. It was raining and the person left it at the door step in pouring rain and we were in the house. Could have rung the door bell or at the minimum covered in a plain plastic paper to repel the water. It was soaked wet (and jeesh the cardboard is such pooooor quality - it smells when soaked releasing the cow dung odor ). Notched down the ratingWith respect to the machine. It is too early to say other than the noise factor. And the extra pieces of hardware sent1. Washers - understandable (who is assembling this again ?)2 Gaskets - understandable3. The lids have a top hole (to breathe?) and it splatters - so someone has to hold it (annoying to say when grinding)4. Microswitch - Is that an omen that we may have to unassemble and install a new Microswitch. It is nice to have the exact part but expecting the client to fix it themselves (In India I can take it to local shop). How many are handy. But it also poses the question - do they expect this to blow up?Unpacking - the base had some scuffs. At the same time, I do understand they test every unit before shipping or packing (when I buy in Indian stores) and it is just the same. Not fresh from the manufacturing floorWill make a calendar schedule to update this review in 3 months

This Machine Is Awesome
We've owned this for a month now and everything works very well. We don't use the middle sized cup because it's a little redundant for our purposes. My wife is from India, so we make Idli/dosa batter and it turns out phenomenal every time.We also make chutney with the little cup, which is perfect for this.We are perplexed at the negative reviews. We received a new one. Ghandi is the company we bought it from. It arrived in a timely fashion (no Prime delivery in two days), within two weeks I think. Well packed, too. The product box was put in a slightly bigger box.Nothing was dented, everything was included as per advertisements. We did watch the video for the less expensive one, which showed how to use the machine (regardless of level). We decided on the Steele, the most expensive one, because the base is stainless steel and so a bit more durable. The one small niggling point is the power cable into the unit itself, where it enters, the "seal" is not great. Apart from that, everything else is just top drawer.I will update this over the course of the coming year.
