Great value and very easy to replace old part.

The negatives: Arrived in somewhat sketchy packaging, causing the front panel with lens to be loose - but it clipped back into position easily. No instructions were provided either. Wd have liked a video output. But this is outstandingly simple as a concept. Basically it's a hotch-potch of modular units bolted together. The lens is a 16mm f1.2 CCTV parts bin item, manually adjustable (screw it in or out to focus). Battery is a typical lithium type, probably an 18360 inside the handle which should give it plenty of time before recharging. It has a micro socket for charging and a USB socket if you wish to use the battery output for other purposes. The 4.3" mono screen is lowish rez but perfectly adequate. Angle of view is narrow and is not telephoto scale - about 1:1 if you hold it at comfortable viewing distance. The default format squashes the image, but you can resize it, although causing black masks to the sides. LH button switches on powerful IR leds - surprisingly effective at range (100 mtrs +). The three buttons on RHS: push the middle one to switch modes, then the top and bottom ones to adjust. Verdict: great fun as a starter night vision device if conditions are not pitch black, and ridiculously cheap!

Did the trick on my ceiling light. Easy to fit and neat and compact for the space within the fitting. Dimmable and no flickering.

Worked for the first 3 months but has blown now. Not happy as my last 1 lasted over 8 years. Now in October and another has blown so I once again have had another delivered and let's see how long this 1 lasts

Nicely packaged item with instructions included. It works as intended. Depending on your set up you might have some work to connect the transformer to the lamp holder. It would be better if a connection block or similar was included to join wires.
