Awesome reusable Nespresso capsules
I got these several weeks ago and I wanted to try them out repeatedly before doing a review on them. I generally don't review items but I really relied upon them for these capsules and I wanted to offer one for someone doing their research as well. I bought these for our Nespresso DeLonghi Lattissima Pro- mostly because the features of the machine were perfect for what I wanted but I wasn't a fan of the one time use capsules. Enter these reusable capsules. I purchased 5 2-packs of these because I work 12 hour shifts and I don't have the time to always refill my capsules. Having 10 on hand is much easier and well worth the expense. I ordered my favorite espresso beans (Lavazza Super Crema) and spent about 2 hours perfecting my grind (you want a fine to medium fine grind using a burr grinder) and tamping (lightly tamp the coffee, do not pack the grounds). By round 6 of testing, my ground espresso was almost identical to a Lavazza one time use Nespresso capsule- I compared color, taste, and even crema to make sure I was doing it right. I read several reviews with the following issues: 1. Several said that the capsule was noticeably smaller than a Nespresso plastic capsule. The box of the item explains why- so it doesn't damage the metal capsule or the machine. It's pretty common sense but again, the box explains it. 2. Several reviews said their coffee was weaker or they had grinds in their coffee post-brew. You have to leave a tiny bit of room for your seal ring and make sure it's not pressed all the way into the ground coffee prior to putting the foil seal on. Also, do not pack the grounds in and don't make them so super fine or super coarse. Experiment with your beans. It's worth 6-10 shots of practice to know what you're doing. 3. This is not a cut and dry, grab a pod and go system. You do have to grind your own beans, seal them, clean them, etc. If you don't like that, don't buy it. It's worth it in the long run. The taste isn't 100% like a Nespresso pod but after using these daily since I bought them on May 29th, I've said an obscene amount of money vs. buying out and the taste is so much better than Starbucks and my other go tos. I absolutely love these little capsules. I may purchase more in the future but if you're looking for a quality way to save money, help with environmental impact and more, you won't be sorry purchasing these. Just have patience if you haven't done it before and do your research so you don't blame the product without any prior experience.

Doesn’t fit, skip this product
I got this so that we could stop wasting so much with offbrand plastic ones and even original or Starbucks which can be recycled. (Still have to ship those back). First, not as easy to fill as I had hoped. Having to line up a rubber thing on top and then the sticker to hold it all together. That wasn’t fun. Then it just falls through half the time. So you have to slightly close the lever so it stops in place. Then to shut it and use it…I thought I was going to break my machine. I have 4 machines. One is offbrand. It was impossible to shut all of them. This sucked. Waste of money. Skip it. Don’t break your machine (or worry you are going to).

They slip right through into the used pod spot
I liked that these were easy to refill and the stickers were good quality. They came off cleanly after the pods were cool. I was even able to reuse some disposable pods. The reusable pods slip right through the top Into the used pod spot. They work great when you can get them into the proper position. I prefer to just reuse the disposables with the included stickers. The pods make good crema on the top the espresso. I find packing it a bit tighter makes better crema

Works great on Creatista! Now I can use any coffee beans I want.
I tried Capmeso on my Creatista. One was with Capmeso pod and the other was a refilled nespresso pod and used one of the sticker lid. I didn't overfill and just pat it down as I was filling. The lid stick really well and there was no residue at all. One thing I noticed was it was much harder to push the stainless steel, I was even hesitant to do it but it went well. Compared to the original pod, it is much shorter so it wont damage the puncture part of the machine. Both espresso came out delicious and same crema amount. I do notice that there were some coffee grounds in my cup on both of them. I emptied my tumbler in a bowl so you'll see it in the last picture. I used fine grind espresso, Cafe Bustelo in particular. I will try and use medium and in between medium-fine next time. Would I recommend this? Definitely. I can use any coffee beans of my choice and no guilt feeling of having to use non-recyclable plastic pods.

Use to be great
These use to be great and worked really well. The materials of this product have changed and now they no longer work with my Nespresso BEC430TTN Pixie Espresso Machine. They do not perforate well and doesn't produce the right amount of coffee. I first thought it my machine however I decided to try another lid and tried Ctosree and my machine works perfectly.
