So far this bait bucket is the best I have ever used. Kept shrimp alive for over three days. Battery last forever and the pump is great.

I am using it to transport Saltwater fish that I catch while scuba diving on a boat to my Aquarium. The total time the fish are in the bucket is about 3-4 hours. On a 90 degree day the temp in the bucket will go from 78 deg to 82 deg within a four hour window. That is cutting it a bit close for me as most fish do not do well past 83 deg. So I carry a frozen plastic soda bottle and dip that in the water to get it back down to 78 deg at about the two hour mark. I had hoped it could hold the temperature longer but it does not. It is a lot better than a regular 5 gallon bucket which will go from 78 to 83 in about 1 hour. Construction wise this is basically a 5 gallon bucket with a removable Styrofoam bucket inserted. I would say the Styrofoam is about an inch thick and fairly durable. The lid feels pretty cheap and I fear the hinges may break. The protrusions on the side of the top for carrying tools are kind of annoying as they can interfere with the handle swinging up or down. Overall its a lot better than nothing but don't expect a miracle if your out on a boat in the hot sun.

I've owned this model in the past and it worked great. I gave my old one away and got this new bucket. I expect the same quality as my first one.
