Well built and very functional to store a laptop. Plenty of storage for all your auxiliary devices and wires.

After decades of service, my previous bag was in tatters. This has provided a very adequate replacement: the capacity works for light grocery shopping, the various compartments and pockets (not that I use them all) help to organize things, and it keeps contents dry in moderately wet weather. I wouldn't rely on it, though, if the rain comes in sideways. The one inconvenience is that the front flap is rigid, and that can make for some awkward handling, and the one real design flaw is how the shoulder strap connects to the bag: it bunches up instead of lying flat, and a simple change of connecting hardware would be a big improvement.It goes where I go 99% of the time, since I'm just about never without at least one thing to read. Once it handles that necessity of my life, pretty much everything else is gravy.-- wiredweird

I find this bag really useful, the amount of storage is just enough for my college classes.I use mostly online books so I can fit my laptop, 2 (medium) college textbooks, a pocket folder, a small notebook, my writing tools, my bottle, chargers and earbuds.Fits everything I use pretty well, almost up to the maximum capacity.It looks very professional as well and it’s great as I dislike backpacks.The material seems sturdy and hasn’t degraded so far.I did find the initial smell out of the package to be a bit unpleasant but I just threw it in the washer and it was fine, the material of the bag makes it super washer friendly!

Updated review - the company reached out after my review and resolved my issue. Since the first time I used it was past Amazon's date to report product issues, they did not have to do anything. They do read the reviews and take issues seriously!I really love the product. I have a large laptop and very few bags would hold it and VERY few could do it with style. This product was perfect for that, and I love all the extra zip pockets that help when I travel for easy access to my passport, Kindle, headphones etc. The side pockets can hold a 16 oz bottle, which is great since my old laptop backpack could not.When my clip broke that held the flap down, I found a product on Amazon to replace the clip without having to remove any stitching. WELL MADE! THICK durable fabric. I'm in love with this bag. It looks more expensive than it costs. The fabric also has a fantastic distressed affect. It doesn't look brand new. It looks well loved. It's PERFECT. ZERO complaints. I carried one of these around for years, all through the late 80's and 90's.PERFECT GRADUATION GIFT!!!! PERFECT OVERNIGHT BAG.

For the price, this is a pretty good messenger bag but there's one BIG flaw to it that has to be called out. The buckles in the front of the bag are blocked by the hard cardboard insert of it's front flap making it awkward and difficult to get at them.

It was everything the information said it was. The bottle pockets on the ends are great! The extra outside pockets are very useful for quick items (Keys, thumbdrives, etc.). It accommodates lots of files and a laptop without a problem.

It came the exact same day I ordered it and not late at night either but early in the afternoon. It was exactly as described. It's made a very good quality I can't tell if it's real leather or not but I guess that's a good thing. It has exact right amount of pockets and little cubbies and apartments not so many that you can't keep track of stuff and it takes forever to find anything but just the right amount. There's a space for just about everything or anything you might want to carry with you. Perfect for laptops and notebooks and school and work. It comes with two extra leather tabs for the zippers in case one gets damaged or ripped. The only complaint I have is that the shoulder strap does not come off it's permanently fixed to the bag but other than that it's absolutely perfect. It's waterproof just as it says I spilled water on it and it just beads up and rolls right off. The flat part that goes over the top has two zipper compartments on the outside and then two plastic clips to hold it down with a leather handle on top then on the back side there's a zipper compartment. It has one open pocket on each end when you flip up the top there's one main compartment that has two slots one for your laptop and that compartment has a strap that goes over the top and velcro's to hold your laptop in place. Then a compartment in front of that which has the main area and then to pockets. Then there's an outer zipper compartment that has holders for pins or pencils and pockets for other things and eight little pockets for business cards or credit cards something like that and that's about it. Like I said not too many compartments but just the right amount.
