Jag tog nog en toalett med för liten avfallsbehållare. Skulle nog köpt en större. Finns det att köpa en lös större behållare?

After thinking whether we should, whether we shouldn't, we decided to buy a Porta Potti for our Campervan. Simply, it was the one of the best decisions we have made regarding the camper. It slots in nice and discreetly (we have it in a small box unit we use as a seat). It is so reassuring to have it, especially as we tend to go out for drives in the countryside where there are few, if any, facilities. Being a lady of a certain age it is a godsend and hubby has made good use of it too! It is very easy to carry empty, and if like us you will be emptying after every trip, you only need to put 2 litres of water in the tank and 2 litres in the flush, which is ample, and it is still easy to carry. The toilet can take 5-10 litres in both but we found that way too much for just the two of us and made it practically too heavy to carry. Using the solutions for the tank and the flush make it very pleasant to use and there is absolutely no smell at all, even when emptying. Very easy to clean/rinse out. It is very sturdy. As I have arthritic knee issues and cannot bend well, I have had no problem using it, even though it does seem very low at first. The bonus about one of these is that it can also be used in the home as a back-up or in a room for people who may be less mobile and cannot get to a toilet quickly. Don't take as long to decide as we did, you will not regret it.

Jederzeit und überall Pippi, was will man auf langen Autofahrten mehr? Keine widerlichen Raststätten mehr...Ruhe und Frieden und ein entspanntes Plätzchen, das war unser Wunsch. Wir haben uns ewig mit allerlei Campingtoiletten befasst... Am Ende haben wir uns für diese entschieden und es keinen Tag bereut. Mein Mann hat eine kleine Holzvorrichtung gebaut, damit sie sicher in meinem Marco Polo steht, auch wenn mal kräftiger gebremst wird! (gibt es auch zu kaufen) Wir verwenden sie mit biologischem Zersetzer. Sie lässt sich perfekt reinigen und wieder neu befüllen und man sitzt gut darauf... wenn sie nicht in Benutzung ist, schmückt sie der kleine Hocker zum überstülpen und man hat noch eine gute Sitzmöglichkeit!
