Is this only a two person game, or can more boards be requested so more can play?

You can play in teams or I suppose you could buy another game and add the 2 boards to the already existing game. I think that would make the game last too long and I'm not sure how the questioning would go. Player 1 asks player 2 and everyone records? Then player 2 asks player 3 and maybe player 3 asks player 2? I can see it making a really fun game too complicated to be fun anymore and could cause some issues among young players.

Does this make a good travel game?

Yes, we are a family that travels a lot. my daughters loved playing this game during travel.

Is Brain-freeze a game that can be played while social distancing?

It is very similar to Guess Who, if you are familiar with that, so you can play it while social distancing. However, I found the game very difficult to play, as it is logic. I simplified the rules, because the rules included are crazy hard!
