I really like that the bottle is held in by a drawstring. Last water bottle holder I had did not have this. My young horse spooked on her second trail ride and the water bottle flew out causing a worse spook. I wish the bottle that comes with the holder had a pop up top instead on a screw on top. The zip pouch holds my knife, tissues and granola bar. Great size for day rides.

Works well clipped thru gusset, with a tie down either thru the plastic ring or using Velcro strap on the bottom back. Zipper pocket is adaquate for phone, keys or small wallet. My only complaint is that the bottle dropped before first use, and the lid cracked. Was leaving on a pack trip so had to try to glue. Good quality design.

Worked great on a saddle for trail riding. I did switch out to a squeeze bottle for easier access. The bottles that it came with are good and will use in cold weather more. The bags had different straps so you can move them around where you need it. Love love these bags

These are my favorite brand of saddle bags and I have tried them all. These easily switch between my saddles as I ride multiple horses. They are just the right size, I have used the water bottles, pommel bag, cantle and the front pocket. When they get to grimy, I throw them in the washing machine and they come back looking new. The zippers finally gave out on the water bottle bags I purchased 10 years ago but I was able to replace the zippers with snaps. I the only reason I bought new ones was the color. Great quality - I wasted money trying other bags over the years and always end up back with my Trail Max products.

Did not hang right on my saddle so it would hit my knee. It is a great device just didn't work on my very light weight treeless saddle.

This is a fantastic bottle carrier. Sturdy material, a thoughtfully designed zipper pocket, and fasteners that keep it on the saddle without jiggling around. Perfect!

Bought for light trail riding so I would have easy access to my water. The clip broke after a couple uses and the item can no longer be attached to my saddle. Too bad, seemed like it would have been a good solution.

I would give it 5 stars but when the metal bottle is full of liquid, it is very heavy. But the pocket fits an iPhone 6S plus and the bottle keeps water cold.
