Vandor Star Wars Princess Leia 12 Ounce Ceramic Mug, Red/White

Bought this as a gift for my roommate for Christmas, and he loves it. 7 months later, and still no chips, cracks, or fading of the graphic (although we hand wash everything, so I can't attest to any sort of dishwasher durability.)Although the packaging of the cup itself isn't very protective, when it came in the mail the actual shipping box was well packed to prevent damage, so nothing was broken, dented, or chipped.As others have mentioned, it is a little on the smaller size, but that may be due to the shape of the cup (the top is slightly wider than the bottom of the cup.) It's also a little on the thin side, but it seems like this cup is more about being a collectible that you can use, and less like a cup that you can throw around, beat up, and generally manhandle.

As a child of the 70s, I was, and still am, a massive Star Wars fan. Which means, of course, that so is my brother, as we saw Star Wars roughly 228 times at the theater. So this year, for Christmas, I'm going for nostalgia. This mug not only will remind him of the excitement and wonder of that summer, but also, since we and the other neighborhood kids used to pose like the picture on the mug with our cheapie light sabers in the middle of the street (not moving for drivers until they said we looked cool), remind him of what it feels like to be a kid again. And who doesn't like that? I think he's going to love it. And clearly I need to get one for myself. That was dumb, that I didn't already do that. At any rate...this was shipped fast fast fast and it's excellent quality.

Bought this mug a couple of months ago and loved it so much. Became my go to tea mug. Then, one fateful evening, it broke in a collision with a cake stand in the sink. Honestly, I was a bit heartbroken. It's been my little source of happiness during this whole quarantine thing. I think I lasted about an hour before I was looking it up in my order history and repurchasing. I had to pay twice as much the second time around, but I'm happy to say my favorite mug is now back in my life. As great as it is for tea, it's also perfect for a latte. It does feel a bit fragile compared to other mugs I have, but I just love the print so much. It's the simple things and this little nerdy mug is what's getting me through.

Love this cup so much I had to buy another one. The shape and weight are perfect. The image is wonderful and has no issues with the dishwasher. I really think I will end up with a full set of this cup and put them on a mug rack for viewing.UPDATE: The first two cups I ordered were exactly the same, the third was a bit smaller and the colors were darker. Not so sure anymore if I am going to continue purchasing this cup. A bit dissapointed now. The cup doesn't feel the same, not quite so perfect. I hope it was just a one off thing because I really love the first two,

These are wonderful mugs - colors are true, comfortable size, and generally well made (the exception is the Darth Vader is lacking a bit of the black coating on the handle; like a chip, but smooth). We've purchased the reddish Princess Leia, blue R2 D2, black and red Darth Vader, and this green Yoda. BUT... so far I've ordered and received two Yoda mugs; the first was crushed in shipping, and the second the handle was broken off and in pieces in the box. Amazon just puts them in a box, NOT wrapped in bubble wrap, and hopes it will survive. Unfortunately, both Yoda mugs (the original and its replacement) were unusable and had to be returned. If I ever can get a usable one, I'll update the star rating (currently 2 stars because out of 5 so far, 3 were destroyed or poor in quality control).Update: Apparantly, Amazon does heed the comments made by customers in the package feedback. Since the first two mugs arrived broken, I specifically requested they bubble wrap the mug. So, on the third one I ordered, they did, and it arrived intact! So, I have refunds for testing first two that arrived broken, but more importantly, I have the Yoda mug! I have now updated the rating to 4 stars (-1 because the blemish on the Darth Vader, not Yoda).

okay so it's not really bigger on the inside. but i still love this thing. any Doctor Who fan will love this. i've gotten several compliments and questions from my coworkers - those that know DW and those that don't. it's a great conversation piece and well... a great mug overall. might be a little less than 12 oz, but it doesn't really matter to me. if you're a DW fan (or know someone who is), get this really cool and fun mug!

I gave this to my son for Christmas and he loved it. He is a huge Doctor Who fan. The cup is bright colored and great quality. It's a good size at 12 oz for tea or hot chocolate. And I can put it in the dishwasher to wash it, so I love it to. I'm getting tired of the hand wash only mugs,

I absolutely loved the look of this coffee cup. I bought for my mom and now I may need to buy one for myself because it's so awesome and it feels very sturdy!
