I have been looking for a unique butter dish to leave on the counter.This is the 3rd butter dish I have purchased. The first was uniquely designed with no knife. The 2nd had a knife, but no lip to keep the melting butter from dripping on the counter. The third, this one a beautifully colored green with a decorative deep cover, Buddha in meditation atop. And with a sleeve to rest the butter knife.PS: The green is a nice pick up to the green in my backslash.Pure Joy. Thank you.

Looks great. A stick of butter barely fits so i cut in half and place both halves side by side. Really unique and cool looking!

It's duper cute and I love the color but it doesn't hold a full stick of butter. More like 2/3.
