This shampoo and conditioner is one of the best hair products I have ever used. For over a year I had been struggling with dry scalp. I have used every home treatment , anti dandruff shampoo and every "natural treatment" out there. We even put in a new water treatment unit. I didn't think my hair was dry and some of the products made my hair dry or very oily but the dry itchy scalp never improved. This was a new problem for me, the only thing I was doing differently is that I stopped coloring my hair. I am now a silver haired grandmother. I bought a travel size set of Alterna Caviar replenishing shampoo and conditioner to give it a try. It was pricey but much less than the regular size bottles. I liked it from the first shampoo. My hair felt silky and the shine incredible but best of all I thought my scalp was less dry and had fewer scales. I was dubious that the improvement would continue and that I would get build up from the conditioner. By the time I was coming to the bottom of the trial size I knew I would need to get the full sized bottles. I bought the 16 oz sizes with the pump and I am glad I did. I have fine hair and I usually can't use a conditioner on a daily basis, this product is totally different. I use it every day. My hair is soft but easily managed with a very nice shine but best of all, my dry scalp has cleared up. I never thought I would spend so much money on hair products but it has been worth every penny to me. I use very little and it should last me a long time.

I shampoo and heat style my hair every single day. I cannot relate to 2 and 3 day hair. Because of the abuse I put my hair through, I never thought I’d find a shampoo and conditioner that didn’t buildup on my hair but was gentle enough for daily use. At first I found the shampoo a little harsh, as I didn’t like the way my hair felt once it was rinsed out, but as soon as I applied the conditioner, my hair felt like silk, like someone else’s hair. I have thick coarse and wavy hair that has always looked dry and over styled. Almost instantly, my coworkers started asking what I was using on my hair as they noticed a huge difference in the visible texture! This is my second time buying, and I will continue.

Great product even if it is a little pricey.
