The Babydust Method: A Guide to Conceiving a Girl or a Boy

This book was so interesting. I've actually browsed through it again since having my baby because I was so fascinated by it. This book was so easy to understand and it truly made perfect sense. I loved how it explained precious gender selection methods and went into depth about why and how the key factors of the method worked without losing me in the nitty gritty. I meticulously followed the method and we got the boy we were hoping for. Not sure if it was luck or this method but based on the studies she references I would say it wasn't just luck. Thank you!

Update: Our sway was successful! We are expecting our boy! It should be noted that the only people who have reviewed this book who DIDN'T conceive the sex they wanted admit they didn't follow the Babydust Method. People who gave the book 4 stars have not tried the method yet. As others have said, the book is incredibly easy to understand and all tips are based on science backed up by animal and human studies. I highly recommend ordering the Wondfo OPKs (to test LH) along with the book, as this testing is critical to the method. I didn't know this and bought the book, only to have to get online two days later to order the testing strips! In addition to the book being an easy, quick read, there is online support from the author. She's very dedicated to answering questions, providing research, and giving you all the support and encouragement you need. We are currently in our 2WW (2-week wait) to see if we conceived but I feel great about our chances of swaying boy- the babydust method brags 94% success when followed correctly! I highly recommend the book to anyone who wants to sway the sex of their baby and doesn't mind doing a little bit of research and data collection to get it!

This book was such a great read! I love all of the reference to so many scientific research to back up the Babydust Method. After finishing this book, I recommended it to all my friends who are planning on conceiving. I too will be using this method when the partner and I are ready to embark on this journey. I really enjoyed the graphs and pictures that Kathryn includes and find her writing style so wittingly funny. The website is also quite the gem and it points you in the direction of where you can buy the LH and HGC testing strips. Kathryn thought of everything! What I learned: capacitated sperm is important along with timing, frequency and ovulation. I highly recommend this book if you even you don't think you and your partner are ready for the responsibility of having a child. There's wonderful wealth of knowledge in this book and it's brilliantly written.

I have been tracking my ovulation (like the book says) and was able to successfully conceive a girl! In my honest opinion, I would skip the first part of the book and go straight to the baby dust method. Reading the other scientific opinions just confused me. Amazing how it works!!!! I recommend it to all my friends!! Short and easy read as well!

So many intelligent women who wrote thoughtful reviews on this book echoed my experiences with this method as well. There is certainly something to this - I’ve seen the positive results myself, but the huge margin of error just using OPKs can make a person crazy in this process. I tested multiple times and still missed my surge because I was going off info from previous cycles instead of trusting those tiny body-cues. The modern women doesn’t have a whole lot of time to get this method perfectly, which is why Ava bracelets, etc. should be considered helpful and not harmful to the proposed method. I hope Kathryn writes a 2nd book to share more of her findings and includes BBT & other body-tracking methods. Even if she developed her own wearable-device - I’d buy it. We need more research on this topic, and no one else is doing it besides her!

After giving birth to 3 daughters, my husband and I decided to fearfully try for a boy with the help of the baby dust method and it worked!!! The book is extremely easy to follow and comprehend. My “sway” as they call it was only based off of this method nothing else. I highly recommend this book or method in general. Not only is the book itself simple and informative there is also a Facebook group to join others sharing your same journey and the author is reachable through that as well for any questions which is helpful since no two scenarios are exactly alike. I have seen opposite sex couples succeed, same sex couples, those doing IVF etc. I highly recommend this method for anyone preferring one gender especially after having multiples of the same sex. Baby Dust to all!!!

Great book! This book is easy to read and explains the science behind the method in a way that anyone can understand. It also includes helpful step by step instructions along with sample charts. After reading the book, charting and following the babydust method for conceiving a baby girl my wife ended up pregnant with her long dreamed of daughter after having our 2 sons! I highly reccommend this book to anyone who is interested in choosing the sex of their next child.

I spent months researching how to conceive a girl. I got myself very confused and frustrated at conflicting advice on the internet. This book doesn't ask you to follow a silly diet or take a certain supplement. Instead, it gives simple and clear advice on increasing the chances of conceiving the sex of your choice. If you follow the instructions then your chances of conceiving your chosen gender are high and I must say it worked for me! I am now pregnant with a baby girl. The book is quick and simple to read and the author (Kathryn) is lovely! She answered questions for me and was very warm and friendly! I can't thank her enough!!!! This book is a must for anyone who wants to conceive a certain sex. Good luck to you all and I hope you all get the baby you are dreaming of :)
