Console cable works as it should. Nice long cable. USB connection and rj45. Not much to say other then it works as it should. Should hold up well and rolls up small to put in your bag.

The first time I tried to use the cable to configure an offline switch and there was no wifi in that location. Of course, I plugged it into my laptop (Lenovo, Win11 Pro) expecting it to just work... and it didn't! Had to go back in the building to where I could get online and find a driver for it. Once I had a driver, I was able to get into the switch and do my thing. Since then it's been problem-free. I got a 10 footer so I would have a little more reach to hopefully be able to set my laptop on a counter or something. This cable is much more convenient than the old serial cable and USB adapter, and seems to be very rugged. Hopefully it holds up over time, but if for some reason it doesn't, I will definitely come back and update my review.

Works great. Plug & play for both Windows and Linux. No issues using this whatsoever, just have to find the right Com port/try (usually /dev/ttyUSB in Linux, ls your dev folder to find it). I've been using it with my Cisco switches, no problems at all. They even provide drivers just in case you do have issues.
