Mighty Max Battery 12V 8Ah Compatible Battery for APC Back-UPS CS 500, BK500, BK500BLK

I bought and installed this battery, tested it and it worked fine, I had a short 3 minute power outage about 6 week after the install and it still worked. The next power outage was just after the one year warranty was up and the battery was completely dead while the original battery lasted nearly 6 years and gave me the fault beeps when it started to fail. I'm going to try something different.

I installed this battery as a replacement into an APC CS 500 Back-UPS on Feb. 20, 2018. When I came into the office on Oct. 12, 2020, the unit was squealing and in fact would not stop until I unplugged the unit and removed the battery completely. The manufacturer indicates that this battery has a "long life." I would have expect perhaps another six months to one year of longevity, but for the price still can't overly complain about the battery's service life. The APC unit was plugged in continuously to protect a PC that was minimally used during this period, perhaps three for four hours per day for no more than four days per week.

Bought this battery for a CyberPower 685AVR. Battery came on time and package very well. Took the old out and inserted the new one with 0 problems. Left all recepticals unplugged and plugged in Backup to charge overnight.. plugged in my computer and router, etc the following day and had an outage shortly after and the backup with new battery worked flawlessly.

Received defective. Contacted seller. Replacement received. It is great to do business with a responsible company who takes care of its customers. Longevity not rated will update accordingly.

The price for the battery is very low and after easy installation, it works without any issues. I've not tested how long it would hold the charge after no power but I believe the time will be sufficient enough to safely shut down connected devices. It was never intended to be the power source for a very long time anyway.

Had older APC with dead battery. Needed a new one. Cost for new was more than $50. Replaced battery for less than $20. Works like new.

Bought 3 for the different APC 500VA units I have at home and all kicked right on and cleared any alarms they had. No issues thus far!

Lots of life and charge and discharge without generating heat. I used 2 of them in a power wheels car for the kids. old battery would last 20 minutes, 2 of these will last 4-5 hours.
