Q: Can I put a clamp-on computer keyboard tray on this desk?

Hello, you can add the try if the clamp fits properly. Thickness of the desk top is 15 mm, and of the beam is 30 mm, making the desk top 45mm (1.8 inches) plus the beam. Hope that helps.

Q: What are the dimensions of each side? I see 54x54x29.5 but Hard to tell length with L-shaped desk like is the whole thing 54in

The whole thing is 54 1/2" X 54 1/2" on the outside (minus the triangle cut out). The inside where the chair would be is 34 3/4" x 34 3/4". The distance from the inside to the outside is 19 3/4". The height is 29 1/2".
