This extended the life of my couch. I had an older couch that was beginning to sag in the middle, and it was causing me back problems as a result. Bought this, took less than a minute to install, and have been happy ever since. It is well made, sturdy, and perfect for older couches that are sagging or have compressed well-worn cushions.

Works very well. I can sit comfortably in my old favorite chair. No more sag!

This definitely stiffened the sinking couch, maybe a tad too much. Makes the couch very hard, but it’s only been a day so maybe it needs to break in a bit. It does fix the sinking, not sure it’s going to be comfortable for everyday sitting. Overall, it is a good product and does do exactly as claimed.

Highly recommend! I have used the Ben’s Home cushion sports on several couches and have been so pleased with how they work! They have extended the life of my perfectly good couches (except the eventual sag from use). This product has been the exact solution I needed! Because of the separate planks the effect is support but not too hard/firm. The fabric cover with solid bound edge makes it easy to handle and keep clean. And the edges don’t wear out my couch fabric and leather (as other options had done). Bonus tip 1 - Double support idea - thanks to my dad. On one long couch that had more significant sag I purchased a small armchair sized support and laid it in the center of the couch. I turned those planks the opposite direction and placed the full size couch support on top. It added just enough extra support for that center trouble area. Worked great! Bonus tip 2 - if you have couch cushions that tend to move/slip around… add a non slip rug pad (runner size) underneath. (Or Ben’s Home… you could consider adding a non-slip feature to the fabric cover!) 😀

Bought this to get through the holidays with our current sofa, which is only 2 years old and gets very little use. The spring system failed but everything else is still in great condition. Thanks to this product, it's like new again. Very comfortable to sit on, it's supportive, color matches the fabric, and it was exactly as described in size.

Fantastic support & well made with sun fella-type fabric and edging. No more sinking into the couch and struggling to get up and out! You can put the boards close together if you don’t need the entire width. It feels like real wood- not as heavy as particle board and feels like 1x4’s to me but I didn’t open it up to verify.
