Bob Mintzer is an American Jazz Sax player. He has done 3 books in this series and all are superb.The fact that it comes with a CD is now a bit out-dated, but that suits me! The original pieces, all written by Mintzer, vary in difficulty. Each piece has the tune and his own solo(s) and all are transcribed in the sheet music.The CD backing tracks contain a version without the Sax and a version with the Sax. The musicians used are high quality.Highly recommended.
