Bandai Hobby - 86 - Lena, Bandai Spirits Figure-Rise Standard Model Kit

I love this kit and fun to build. The pieces are well made to snap together. I had add a decent amount of detail to make the way it unless you use the okay stickers. I would be careful with the pieces they can break if not careful.

The figure looks great, but most of the accents are stickers. As such, they're pretty fussy to put on the figure.The faces do not have eyes, which are stickers too. Albeit they're difficult to place, that's not much of a problem. The problem is that there's not enough faces for all the eyes provided, as there's only 3 with 3 eye options each. That means, if one wants to change the eyes, one has to remove the stickers from the given face.A funny thing is that the figure comes with a rather large base, which shows that it connects to other figures of the same type.If you are able to paint the accents, I'd recommend that instead of using the stickers, as it took me quite the effort to make them look decent. Another problem is that the stickers for buttons are prone to fall, so if you choose to paint them on instead, go ahead.All in all, a very good figure for the price.

This model kit is great. Various facial expressions and good pose-ability make this model kit great for Lena fans. (as there are almost no Lena figures out)The assembly process is not too difficult to complete, even to a beginner (like myself). As long as you have cutters, tweezers, semi-steady hands and some patience, you will be able to assemble this kit and have it look somewhat nice.Now to get to my personal issue with this kit: the stickers. The eyes, the eyebrows, the gold accents, the buttons on her shirt and coat, the flags and ranking medallions, all of it is stickers. It isn't a complete negative, but is definitely something to keep in mind when buying this kit. I imagine this model would look incredible if you were to go through the trouble and paint everything by hand.

The box was a little dent but other then that this is a 5/5 star definitely recommend for collecting the figure was super easy to put together and snapped on perfectly the only downfall is the fact you have to put the eyes on and eye brows since they are so tiny but still good quality

Overall, the product is fine. It's HG standard at least and the assembly process is fairly standard for a Bandai figure. That being said, there are a TON of color correcting stickers on this model.90% of them are pinhead sized buttons or accents that cover up a lot of great detail on the plastic model.If you are interested in this kit I would 100% say it is necessary to have at least some non-metallic gold, and some navy blue or black paint. Without it, you will probably be very disappointed with your purchase.

The quality is decent and I wished it didn’t need stickers and was instead printed on or something but it is a model kit so that’s to be expected although the sticker on the belt or whatever it is fell off as it doesn’t really have much to stick on
