I unrolled it and let it inflate on its own. It takes a while to fully inflate but at regular intervals, I would close the valve and gently press on it to force the air into the foam and cavities. Then I would open the valve again and let it inflate more. I store it as fully inflated as possible along with my Sleeping bag loosened out, that way, it tends to remain fully shaped. When I need it, I would then deflate it and carry it to my camping destination in its squash bag. It feels like a good product. I like it. It seems well made. I would not step on it or load it too much when inflated because I feel it could burst. otherwise, a good buy.

I really like self-inflatable stuff in general as it packs down nicely and you can adjust how much fluff you need. This pillow works perfectly for that. I use it in the hammock, probably about half deflated. I let it inflate and then lie down on it to have it conform to my head and then close the valve. The pillow will stay in that form even if I get out of the pillow and when I get back in, it's still perfect!The pillow also works great fully inflated in a regular bed (or tent for that matter). I usually need two pillows to have my head at the right height not to get back/neck issues and this pillow has the perfect height at full inflation level. Just had a great nights sleep in it and it's wide enough that I didn't fall off at all, which has happened with a square pillow I used to have. No need to stuff two regular full pillows - that will get damp too - in the car for camping any longer!The top review that describes how to inflate it for the first time was very valuable and worked like a charm, so be sure to do that once when you get it. Packs right back down into its stuff sack with ease.

this pillow is excellent for sleeping in any mobile situation. If I'm sleeping in a semi-upright position, I only fill it about half-way with air, but if I'm laying flat, I fill it about 80%. it's very versatile, packs easily and inflates quickly. it doesn't self-inflate quickly, but if you leave it open, it will fill about 75% on its own. It takes less than 30 seconds to inflate it to 100% so self-inflating isn't a concern to me.

Lo genial de esta almohada es que puedes escoger entre varios tamaños de acuerdo a qué tanto aire decides que tenga. Es decir, al principio abres la válvula y se infla sola hasta cierto punto, que es donde recupera la forma original el material que tiene adentro. A partir de ese punto, puedes cerrar la válvula y queda de cierto tamaño, o bien puedes inflarla más aunque en lo personal no me agrada que esté con tanta presión porque queda muy alta y se resbala. Del tamaño para transporte esperaba algo más pequeño, aunque definitivamente es más práctica que llevar una normal que no sea inflable. Fácil de guardar en su funda.

Grabbed this camping pillow to use while motorcycle camping here in Southern Ontario.It packs down small, it's lightweight, and for the price it's hard to go wrong with a camping pillow like this one.It takes five or six breaths to inflate the pillow completely and then you can easily adjust it to your preferred firmness.Sometimes I even prefer using the camping pillow at home because its Not as bulky and gives better support for my neck.Overall, I would definitely recommend this camping pillow if you're looking for one that's reasonably priced, durable, comfortable, and great for camping or hiking!
