C CRYSTAL LEMON Emergency Survival Safety Suppression Fire Blanket for Kitchen, 39x39in

My favorite part about this fire blanket is that it just saved our house from burning down last night. I had only owned it two months and bought it because I saw a youtube video about how important it was to keep fire blankets in your home. I looked it up and saw how reasonable it was so went ahead and purchased it. Praise the living God. My plan was to eventually buy one for each room but I started with one and hung it on the wall in my kitchen. I showed my family members where it was and how to pull it out quickly by grabbing the tabs at the bottom. Last night a candle that had been burning in our dining room broke at the bottom, spilling the contents and hot wax onto the material underneath of it which started on fire. Thankfully the smoke detector in the same room alerted us quickly but there were already flames. We ran for the fire blanket and were able to put the fire out quickly before more serious damage was done. I am going to make sure I have one of these on every floor of my house. Eventually every room in my house.

I originally purchased one for a cabin and my home. The cabin was a necessity, considering it would take the volunteer fire dept a hour to respond.This year I purchased as a Christmas gift, along with 2 fire extinguishers, for a friend who recently sold their house during the market boom and is residing in a 5th wheel camper.Just knowing I have these and now they do in the event of a fire brings such peace of mind.

I haven't used it, but I like the idea behind it. I have it in a drawer by my stove. It is easily reachable if I ever have a grease fire. I think it will be much less messy than the cannister of fire extinguisher foam and easier to deploy in event of a fire, where emotions and anxiety will run high. Like insurance, I hope to never need it.

My 84 yr old mother has this in the kitchen for the next time she catches the pot on fire because she forgot it for 10 minutes longer than she should have. Makes me feel better. Appears east to use for an elderly person. Will update once she uses it.

I purchased these for myself and a friend. We both have small fire extinguishers, but I wanted something next to the stove for our rental because it's handy and I hung it immediately below the stove in the cabinet. Ive never used one, but having as an extra security in case of emergency, just makes me feel better.
