Begonia Maculata - 3'' from California Tropicals

I am so pleased with the begonia maculata I received today. It's healthy and larger than I thought it would be. The plant is well rooted and after giving it some time to acclimate will be ready to transplant to a largerpot.

I normally don't write reviews, however I was super impressed by this! This was the most well and secured package I've every received! (I'm new to the planting world!) But I have been waiting this exact plant for sometime now and can never find them in my area! I'm glad I took the leap and orders from this seller! How gorgeous is this baby!! The plant came in very tiny, wilted and almost dead. Immediately put it in fresh soil and watered it, but it doesn't look good after 3 days. Its a shame to pay that much for a 3 inch dead plant!!! One week later the plant was dead!! What a rip off! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!

Healthy plant arrived very carefully packaged, cushioned with crinkly paper and plastic wrap to protect the leaves and stems from impact during shipping. The package even fit inside my mailbox — just be careful how long you leave it there after it arrives if you are in a very hot or very cold climate. The plant is doing well so far with regular watering and light. Would purchase from this seller again.

Pretty good overall, she’s leaning more than I like. I have to be xtra careful so we don’t snap her stem. She lost a small leaf in transit, bummer but not that big of a deal. She’s a decent size for a 3” pot. Soil was a little moist, course I gave her a gentle drink. She’s got tons of potential, can’t wait to watch her grow. Took 1 star bc of how much she’s leaning & therefore I have to be xtra careful. & I had to prop her up w a stick etc. Shipping was about 4/5 days, not bad. Packaging was good, could be a little better. But it was decent. Forgot that pic. Love my begonia overall!!

Arrived today. Very small, wilted and broke. Not sure if it will survive or not. Disappointed. High price for such a small plant.

It's still alive, not thriving but alive

The plant is gorgeous, I am in love! The shipping took a long time but it wasn’t the seller’s fault. USPS wouldn’t accept the shipment and it was stuck in California for 5 days before it was finally in transit to me. The seller packaged it extremely well, the leaves received slight damage but very minimal. The soil was still slightly moist even after 8 days of being in transit. Overall, I would definitely recommend this seller for future purchases!
