This needs to be supplemented with multi-spectrum probiotics to be effective. By itself waste of money! Buy a product that combines prebiotics and probiotics effecyively for better impact and cost optimization.

I bought this on recommendation of the FB group Raw Feeding for IBD Cats, because I suspect my cat is starting to get early symptoms of IBD due to the guar gum in his fancy feast canned food. He started getting water diarrhea back in September. I tried the S Boulardii protocol for diarrhea, and he was up to 4 capsules every 3 hours in the day and it did nothing to help him. I tried the adored beast feline gut soothe, and that did not help after a week of him being on it either. So I took him to the vet, and they offered the small Proviable Forte kit which is a really good probiotic for cats. No surprise, after being on it for 15 days it did NOTHING for his watery poop. So, I found this to be recommended along with S Boulardii, and be given daily at 1/3 capsule with 1 capsule of the S Boulardii with MOS. Its been 1 week, and he had a fully formed poop this morning! I will continue giving this for another week and hope he stays good with his poops. If not, its time for an ultrasound to see if his intestines are thickening. If so = IBD. I have been a member of that IBD catbgroup for a few years now, just in case I had to deal with this situation. I recognize the possible symptoms, and I am working on fixing it. Spectre has been on a fully raw diet for 2 months now, but it didn't reverse the diarrhea by itself, like it has in the past.
