Case LogicLaptop Backpack

I bought this after my Samsonite backpack finally got too grotty. This one is stylishly black with red trim and has lots of pocket space - I have an iPad, magazine, umbrella, scarf, gloves and water bottle in the main pocket and can still go to the supermarket on the way home and use the same pocket to carry home a decent night's meal. And then there are more pockets on top of that.What really stands out most for me though is the comfort. I'm not sure what it is about the shoulder design, but whereas the kit I carried in my old rucksack really felt like a drag, because this one is naturally higher up on your back and there is a fabric area across the top of the straps, which sits across the top of your shoulder blades, it seems to make carrying a heavy load feel significantly easier. It really is a joy to use and also takes a 17" laptop (just).

Really nice backpack and super value. This is my second Case Logic bag, the first and smaller one still going strong after being taken everywhere for years. This one is very roomy, my 15" laptop has room to spare. Plus space for books, snacks, washbag etc. Can't do better I don't think.

This is a quite well made rucksack. I wish the side pockets were bigger, but one cannot have everything.It serves as my "man bag" too and from Work and elsewhere. It has just enough room to carry my lunch, raincoat, umbrella and Kindle.The side pockets just about suffice for "just in case items" like folding pliers ,swiss army knife, windup torch and some pills.Looking at it, I expect it to last for some years.Finally in 2019 it began to split along one of the main zips. Five years of almost daily service is excellent.I liked it so much I have just ordered exactly the same one again. (6th Feb 2020).

I ordered it to replace the old one (same item) I got 7 years ago.I really love this backpack, the design is fantastic.It has enough space for the laptop + charger + documents. I could even fit in my 17" personal and 16" company laptop comfy without an issue.I can even take changing clothes with me inside which comes handy as I ride a motorbike.I can recommend it for everyone who is looking for a laptop backpack.

Update: 4 years later. It's practically still brand new. Absolutely brilliant.Great quality bag. Had mine for over a year now and it's still holding up very well. No broken zips, rips or anything like that. My laptop is large and it still fits no problem. Padded for protection too. Dropped it once or twice and no problems. Been using 5 days a week for over a year and can confirm that it's a really good buy.
