My Go To Sanding Block
This sanding block holds a quarter sheet of sandpaper in a firm and flat orientation. It is light weight but rigid. I used to make my sanding blocks out of hardwood scraps and covered them with cork but no more. I do a fair amount of finish sanding on my furniture projects with 220 and 320 grit paper. Great sanding block!!

I wouldn't change a thing. Great size - even for my big hands - and great adhesion. I paired it with Dura-Gold 80 grit adhesive-backed paper and quickly shaped the filler I was using to repair a window. The paper never slipped, and when I was done, it was still clinging tenaciously to the block but the paper separated cleanly from the block. I love it when stuff just plain works. I have several sanding blocks but they're gonna collect dust because this is my new go-to sanding block.
