Environmental Health: From Global to Local (Public Health/Environmental Health)

I teach and use this as a text. It is excellent , best in hardcopy. There are so MANY inset text boxes, figures etc that it can be difficult on devices. Use largest screen available, quite hard to track page numbers hardcopy to e-copy,

I just started Graduate School and this book is fascinating and makes learning about environmental health issues and solutions interesting. I am normally not a fan of dense textbooks, but this book doesn't feel dense. It gives a broad context to the environmental health field going back to the beginning around the late 1900s.

I'm using this for a grad class and it is a wonderfully written textbook. I'm a textbook reader to begin with but this one is a very easy, yet informative, read. Definitely great for those starting out in EHS. Rented it but will most likely end up buying it outright to keep on the bookshelf for referencing.

This textbook has probably been one of my best ones. The concepts are communicated clearly but not so much that I fall asleep reading. The examples are also fairly relate-able and modern. If you're looking for a textbook to assign, this is a pretty good one.

Just what I needed

Rented.Using for graduate school.Very informative and most recent edition. Published 2015 or 2016.As expected. It's a text book.

Waste of money. The book was not in bad condition but it smells like a smokers apartment. It is difficult to read the book, I begin to feel nauseated of how strong the cigarette smell is. I will be returning it before the due date and buying a new one instead. There is no way I can continue to have that smell so close to my nose. I would not recommend renting a used book.

Very good quality. Like new, not used. The book was delivered in a very timely manner.

Wonderful book with good concepts and illustrations ! ! Worth reading for Environmental Health students and professionals !

A must for anyone interested in Environmental Health. Authors are the leading authors in their fields. Chapters cover their topics thoroughly and share additional resources.
