Best canned mackerel I've found
This canned mackerel works great in recipes. Love that I can put in the pantry & it'll hang around nicely for literally YEARS.I put them (canned mussels also work with this) in a Pyrex dish and top with my homemade Dynamite sauce (below), set under broiler for a couple minutes and YUM :)Ingredients:1/4 cup mayonnaise1 tablespoon Sriracha hot sauce1 tablespoon massago (orange capelin caviar) - you can substitute using regular sugar ;-)1 stalk green onion (greens only – thinly sliced)Furikake or sesame seed to garnish or few drops of sesame oil for added nutty flavor (optional & a little goes a LONG way!)

Appreciate the 'no mercury' claim
I love tinned mackerel and have it for when I just don't feel like fussing much. Good additive to a mixed green salad, so you're getting protein AND all the vitamins from the greens as well. A little pricey but since it more or less comes under the organic label, as it's low or nonexistent mercury, I guess they can charge more. Flavor is excellent. If they ever start to cheap out and start packing it in water, though, we're done. I'm strictly an olive-oil tinned fish person.

Delicious
I want to eat fish a few times a week. I like mackerel but don't want to cook it at home due to the heavy fish smell it gives off when cooked.. I normally get broiled mackerel from a grocery store. I saw this canned mackerel and thought I'd give it a try. i liked how it is tested for mercury. I tried it today and thought it was delicious. Good flavor. Not overpowering and does not have a heavy fish aftertaste.

Good - not great
I was looking for a competing product to Wild Planet brand and this one is just "OK"

Best canned fish we’ve ever tasted
Way better than the tuna we love that’s three times more expensive. Have it over some steaming hot rice and you have an easy winning meal that’s even a favorite with kids.

Yum!!!
Canned fish that's delish! Eat with pasta or on toast or straight out of the tin. It's clean food, so I can enjoy without worries. This is nothing like canned tuna. Nope, this fish is a delight by itself, with a light taste. It's in chunks so I know I'm eating real fish. Yum!

very tasty and convenient
I bought these as a way to add some fish to my diet, without having to buy fish fresh or frozen. I frequently will cook up a bowl of rice and add one of these to the bowl. You get a good hunk of mackerel and it's very tasty with the added olive oil. Keeps well on the shelf, and is always ready when I am in the mood for some fish! Would always be nice if it was a little bit cheaper per can, but the price point seems on level with comparable products from other companies.
