Schott ZwieselTritan Crystal Glass Classico Stemware Collection Fruit Brandy/Grappa Cocktail Spirits Glass, Set of 6

I wasn't sure I would like the shape which I first experienced with grappa in Italy, but the old Riedel and Zwiesel glasses I have used for Schnapps for many years are no longer available, so I ordered these. I love them. They are beautiful and hold just the right amount.

I have never been more impressed with any other wine glasses.I believe the Schott Zwiesel manufacture the very best crystal wine glasses.

As others have commented, these do not appear to be made by Schott Zweisel--the box is labeled D&V Value "Classico." The bottom of each glass is etched with D&V, rather than Schott Zweisel. Does this matter? Not to me. This is the fourth pack of 6 martini glasses I've ordered, of this particular glass. The first two orders were at Pottery Barn, the next was on Amazon, and this is the fourth. All the others were marked correctly. However, I can't tell the difference at all. The size is the same, and the look of the glass is the same. When I tried to re-order from the Amazon company I'd used before, I found that they had more than doubled their price (hmmm, price gouging during a pandemic?). That's why I took a chance on these, even though I wasn't sure. I'm glad I did. These are truly a "classic" design, although if you want a wow factor get something at Crate&Barrel. The big seller is that they fit EXACTLY into the door pockets of my freezer (2 to a pocket), so I always have at least two frozen martini glasses when I need them. As far as the number of martini glasses that have broken in my house--it's not the glass's fault. Martinis tend to be consumed on a couch or a chair, rested on a low side table, and consumed by someone who might be tipsy. Add dogs and a visiting bon vivant to the mix, and you have a recipe for occasional breakage.

I have a range of Schott Zwiesel Tritan glasses, including these. They’re high quality and good looking for a good price. My wine glasses have lasted over the years, so I expect these will too. My wine glasses do well in the dish washer - I have not figured out how to fit these in yet.
