San Juan Islands Map, Road & Recreation, 7th Edition

Growing up we used to adventure to the San Juan Islands primarily on boat, this map does a good job of providing some of the places you can stay on your boat as well as places to explore on land. I got it for one of my parents as a present this past year, 2020, and they loved it. Not all places are marked on the map, so I added them in with a ballpoint pen. I also added things like the location where I saw a baby red fox. Adds personal experience to the map the map makers put together as well. My mom loved those added personal touches. Not all of the locations on the map are properly labeled in regards to the agency that manages the land, but that is easy to find out at the place in-person or online in advance of your visit. There is a main map portion of the map as well as listings of different categories of places below the map portion, called recreational indexes in the product description. The finish on the map is glossy which helps it stand up in the natural elements. All around great product.

Not made of very good quality, separated at the seams the moment I unfolded it for the first time. Going to keep because I need one for the area, and haven't found a suitable replacement.

More detail than any guidebook, and before a trip, detail is what you need.

We are planning a road trip to the San Juan Islands this summer, so this map is an essential. I was pleased that it is laminated and easy to read (and easy to fold up again!). Can't wait to use it!

A good, study map with lots of good information. Great price!

The part of the San Juan Islands that it covers is done well. Unfortunately the eastern islands and mainland shoreline are completely missing. Only about 80% of the islands are shown.

This represents it includes Anacortes. Well, it really doens't. A good map of Anacortes is what I was looking for, so I was disappointed. If I wanted a map of the islands, I'd probably be happy enough. Just not what i was looking for.
