I was very pleasantly surprised by the convince, portability, and quality for price. I use it for making shore lunches when out fishing. Provides lots of heat to fry or boil with butane or propane with the adapter for propane. Love it.

Very compact, light and well made stove. Heats quickly and does what it should...cooks food and boils water fast. Fits frying pan and large pot no problem, low to the ground and stable. Buy with confidence.

I purchased this stove a year or so ago and recently bought another for more cooking capacity. No issues so far with the first stove.The only con to this stove - considering price - is the weight. It's not heavy but lighter is always nice. This is only worth half a star.Many butane stoves sit above the fuel canister, a setup I don't particularly care for as that configuration can tip over. This stove allows everything to sit lower. It also keeps the fuel canister away from pots and pans, which for me is a plus but for others, the expanded footprint may be an issue. It also cools down quick enough to be packed away after the meal.An optional propane attachment would put this stove over the top, chef's kiss.If you're considering this stove, you may also consider a windscreen or setting up a wind break of some kind. Breezy days will lead to fuel waste and slower cooking times, an issue not specific to this stove but worth mentioning.
