[6LBS] Bulk Silica Gel Flower Drying Crystals - Reusable, Color Indicating, Bead Size < 1mm

This was my 1st time at drying flowers. Worked perfect. I never knew how to dry flowers. I've tried pressing in books, hanging upside down, but nothing compares to this. Very easy. Extremely easy and flowers turn out fantastic!

Love the end result when drying flowers with these silica gel crystals. Have used them twice now for DIL’s bouquet and then a few months later for a friend’s. They are easy to dry in the oven and repackage for repeated use. Buying them was a good investment and I’ve found it to be a nice gesture to offer this service to those special friends who want to preserve their wedding flowers.

These TinyHippo Silica Gel Flower Drying Crystals worked well and very quickly. Both of the flowers shown in the picture were dry in less than a week. They did retain most of their color although the white part of the peony was not as white as it was originally. This is my first time drying flowers from my garden and I have not used any other silica drying crystals in the past so I have no other dried flowers to compare to but I was impressed with how quickly these dried out. I simply placed some drying crystals in a bowl, added the flower in the middle, almost completely covered the flower with some more crystals, and then placed a lid on top of the bowl. I reused the same crystals for the orange flower. Overall, these drying crystals worked well.

I am usurping this product, to dry out my great grandmothers that was in a plastic tote that got filled with water. The first few day, I stood it on its ends to to release most of the water. The pages were still extremely wet and sticking together. When, I got the product inI immersed the Bible in the product making sure that it was covered completely. I put it in on Saturday evening, I checked on the Bible Monday afternoon the Bible was mostly dry, the pages were just damp now. I reimbursed, the Bible in this product and rechecked it on Tuesday evening, the Bible is mostly dry, I am able to move the pages with ease, they are still damp close to the binding. So am really happy with the product. I will leave it a few more days to see if it can get the rest of the dampness removed.This product, has saved a Bible with great family value that could of been completely ruined by a flooded storage area. I hate spending so much on craft stuff but wow does this work!! I got roses for Valentine’s Day and wanted to put in shadow box for keeping and these saved the color and the appearance! So much better than drying! The petals do tend to fall out but I glued them back in. And that was my man handling them lol but this product is awesome!! Don’t hesitate! Get more than you think you need! It doesn’t go far!

This stuff works great for quick drying of flowers, petals and leaves without making them brittle or losing all the color if the flowers. I tried both the quick method with the microwave and the longer method which takes up to a week for more dense flowers and the longer method works best to preserve the flowers best but the microwave worked decent also.
