Way brighter than just 3x the brightness.
I have a 2017 Corolla XSE. I procrastinated and was outside the return window when I tried to install these. When I opened the package my heart dropped because the map lights (the push in ones) looked like they wouldn't fit and often things don't fit the XSE that fit other models of the car.Well, using the extremely handy pry tool (which was way easier than the screwdriver I was trying with before I opened the package), I replaced one and turned on the lights to compare. Even in the daytime the new LED was blindingly bright compared to the very dull yellow old bulb. I continued and replaced all the bulbs.I'm not sure why you get 2 extra map lights but only one of the middle of the car light. I would think they'd give extras for both, but it is what it is.At night they aren't quite as bright as in the pictures in the listing but they are a HUGE improvement over the dull old lights.Time will tell how long they last. If they don't last at least a year I'll come back and update the review. So far I'm very pleased with the purchase and for any XSE owners these WILL fit your car.

Easy to install with 1 or 2 youtube videos. I've installed 6, not sure where 7th goes :D

Love it!!
These fit perfectly in my 2019 Corolla. Installed them about 5 months ago and still no issues. They are brighter than the stock bulbs.
