I have quite a few fish tanks. They range from 10 gallon to 125 gallon. I have never had any issues and always used canister filters with a combination of additional sponge filters. After moving my tanks into my new home I had a bedroom for the two bigger tanks and just having like a "fish room". It was closer to the window and even after putting black out curtains it was still causing the tank to evaporate water faster and get super cloudy. I had tried everything and nothing seemed to be working. I got this filter yesterday and by this morning it was SO clear. I haven't seen it that clear since before I moved. Thank you so much! I got this for a cyber Monday deal so it was 50% off and I am going to buy additional ones for my other tanks. If you are thinking of getting this, just do it! I had something similar but it was a "green machine UV killer" and it does nothing compared to this one. This one also is super easy to clean and take apart. :)

I love how quiet this is, and works great! Easy to clean and it's surviving my 12 inch long African Oscar who attacks everything in his tank because he can.

This did well in my tank as a secondary filter, but my god was it difficult to clean. The sponges and such were easy enough, but the thing would not come apart. I took it out because the damn thing nearly broke with me trying to squeeze the clips enough to get it apart. Need a better design.

Great filter, keeps my turtle aquarium very clean. I clean the tank a lot less now which is great. However, this is my second purchase. I dropped my last one anout 2 inches off the ground and something inside came loose and it stopped working.Also some of the little parts that you have to squeeze to separate each section for cleaning are really hard to squeeze and seem liable to break if pushed too hard.

I bought this filter about a month ago and was intended to be an upgrade from my factory 37 gal filter that came with the tank. Purchasing this filter was a mistake. In the corse of a month, Ive had to change the water multiple times becaise it keeps turning GREEN and cloudy. Particulates are not being removed and all of my fish except for 1 died this last time I had to change the water. I wouldn't recommend this product. Having to buy a different filter today because my water is nasty again. almost 2 weeks since last full water exchange. smh..

Love how it filters and does a good job. Hate it because it has the worse mounting device to the glass. The filter has to be disconnected into 4 separate sections to be cleaned (a good thing) but the connection clamps are a bear to separate...poorly designed. We've had this filter for almost 18 months and I'm ready to look for another one ... I cannot separate the 4 sections by myself because it takes too much hand/finger strength and I'm tired of how much work it is to remount it to the inside wall of the tank.

Keeps my turtle tank looking clear. However my tank still looks green. But it’s clear so that’s all that matter. It’s not loud, it has different powers and it was easy to set up.

I have a very large aquatic turtle who makes his tank NASTY. It starts looking like a swamp very quickly. A regular tank filter just wasn’t cutting it and the amount of money I was spending on the filter replacements was ridiculous. I bought this filter hoping to save some money on filter pads and get the tank cleaner for longer and it ABSOLUTELY did both of those things. Cleaning it out is really easy (I just take it apart, spray everything off really well with the kitchen sink sprayer, and clean out the sponges with turtle sludge destroyer), it keeps the tank clean for around a month before it ends up needing to be cleaned out, and it doesn’t make any irritating noise. My only small complaint is that because it’s easy to take in and out of the holder, my turtle has figured out that he can hit it a few times and knock it out, so we end up fishing it out of the bottom of the tank every now and then. I think its completely worth it though!

This is an awesome filter works great on my 90 gallon tank. I'm thinking of getting another for my other tank as I have the sponge filters for it which work good but with the adding of this one makes the tank increadable!

Our aquarium was never clear until we bought this filter. This is really worth buying.

The media could not be loaded. Some how the water has become more dirty. The video is taken after 2 days which clearly shows it has no effect. It has a top motor which is simply taking water from the top and blowing it across with no filteration effect

It's noise won't work don't waste your money on this
