Metal looks Good!
This is the third zipper in this coat; the first lasted for sixteen years, the second for four. The second was not YKK. I do not remember the first. This is also the first metal zipper; the others were plastic. I am very pleased with the appearance of the zipper.

Get rid of those junky plastic zippers!
Got a great Dickies jacket as a gift, but the crummy plastic zipper was a struggle just to open and close.So I installed this YKK all metal beauty and it's been smooth sailing ever since.Very high quality, great price.

Zipper review
So zipper is the stated length but the zipper teeth stop 1 1/2-2 inches from the top of the zipper so doesn’t close the zipper all the way up
